| Anybody running like this. I am looking at the National Cycle Deflector shield. I don't have a lot of real estate on the bars due to the narrow bars and the brake on the right hand side. See picture below. With the type of mount that this shield has - will there be enough room? Also, anyone with this shield, how fast can it be removed? Would I be better off getting the Deflector Shield DX that has the "quick release" system. Thanks |

| The handbar mounts don't take up much room. They should fit. However, positioning options increase as your handlebar rise increases. You're gonna have pretty much one single position for your shield and that's it. Not a lot of position flexibility. Also, if you are maybe 5' 8" tall or taller you're gonna get a lot of helmet buffeting from the wind with a narrow 15" shield like that. Are you against fork mounted windshields? I know they cost more than the handlebar shields do. The Show Chrome line of shields are pretty much like the memphis shades line of fork mounted shields but cost about 30% less. Just a thought.

| Just my opinion, but a windshield and drag bars don't go together. If you do want to put a shield on, I would look for something smaller.
