| Dark grey/Yellow 08 owner looking for a better cruising look to my bike. Have hellcat windsheild, cobra mini sissy bars and ready to add new pegs and possibly new highway pegs.Wondering if Johns forwards will make me happy or if the highway pegs without the forwards do the job. Don't even know if I can do the highway pegs without the forwards? Clueless on my next step... Any advice would be helpful.

| I have John's F/C installed on mine. I don't think the look of the bike is improved or deminished with the F/C' installed. It is just a mere riding comfort issue. I could not imagine riding without the F/C's on now. I had a pair of the highway pegs that I ordered from ChromeWorld.com . I personally did not like them. Womper may get them but he has riding boots with a suport in the back of the boot for laying your leg/foot on the bar. I am going to be ordering the SwingBlade footpegs which will be perfect for me. You can see my bike on page 16 of the http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...m50-today.html thread which shows the highway pegs I was using. The other option to highway pegs is installing a Highway Bar/ Crash Bar and mounting a set of pegs to that bar. I personally think the Lindby Bars are the best looking bars for the M. |

| Go with the johns kit forwards! I had the same post about 2 weeks ago, and went with the johns kit forwards. I finished putting them on today and was amazed! The comfort level of the bike got way better. Plus if you just get longer foot pegs, you can rest your ankles on them for the long cruzes!

| Johns Kit...may not make a big difference while sitting there, but it'll look better and more importantly FEEL better when heading down the road. Highway pegs are only for C50's

| The highway pegs look really nice on the bike. The only thing I did not like about them was the comfort but that was because I did not have a fancy pair of riding boots with a built in thing in the back of the boot so you can rest your leg on the peg. If they were positioned such that my heel rested on the peg and not the area 1-2 inches above my heel, then there would have been no issues. By me putting swingpegs on mine, I won't rest my leg on anything, but when swung out, my legs will be almost all the way stretched out. |
