Holy cow, Womper, is there room for you to sit on the bike?

On the cruiser, I put the helmet on the sissy bar. On the Z, I have to use the net, and it works good if fastened down correctly.

heh... i did... yes i overpacked but it was my first trip ever...
next trip i'll know what to pack and how to pack properly...

as for the helmet bra... looks promising, but for me it looks like it would move around a lot as it's tied in only two places on the bike..

the bar is still the best option i'd imagine..

Sorry, but a Noob question - The helmet lock - what part of the helmet are you supposed to lock one of the rings on the strap? Seems logical, but just wanted to double-check. Do most people use this method, because I don't really see it in practice. I always get stuck carrying mine in with me wherever I go (don't just leave it sitting on the bike like some people I see).

Thanks.

Yes. One or both of the rings.
And turn it so that the open end of the helmet is NOT pointing upward.
All kinds of stuff gets in there if you turn it the wrong way.

Just my 2 cents

Yeah, I guess I should have made that more clear. The idea was for a PASSENGER helmet strapped to the bike while riding, IN ADDITION to the one firmly strapped to my cueball head. I use the helmet lock as its supposed to be used; not during riding. Plus, I have always found myself making fun of the guys who ride with a helmet sitting on their bike but not on their head.

I got a bungee net that I slide underneath the pax seat and it has six bungee hooks that I have to stretch pretty good to attach them together. Once they are all on, it holds the helmet pretty darn secure! Just keep the helmet in the helmet bag and no scratches from the hooks. I would have to kick it to get it to come off the seat. Pretty good little $5.99 option. Thanks guys.
