|  Bolts required for Backrest and Saddle Bag Supports?
OK a about a month ago I put on aftermarket Saddle Bag supports (sorry I don't remember the brand). They gave me new bolts which were longer than the factory bolts and worked nicely. I've since bought a backrest, which installs on the outside of the chrome trim on the fender trim but inside the saddlebag supports (spacers / washers also involved). The bolts I got with the backrest are no longer than the ones I recieved with the saddle bag supports and definitley are not long enough. I told the dealer I thought this would be an issue when I bought the backrest. My neibour measured the factory bolt and thinks its an odd diameter (7mm). The dealer insists the factory bolt is 8mm but still doesn't have anything long enough. Believe I now need something 95mm in length. Hard to find!! Has anybody else had this problem?
