|  Gas mileage really sucks!
I have seen posts on gas mileage. Mine is not getting what it should. I have stock everything as far as motor goes. Only debaffled. I get about 45 to 47 mpg around town, easy or hard riding does not seem to change it a great deal. I went on my first "long trip" this past weekend. Drove 175 miles and it was all highway driving. Probably averaged 65 to 70 for about 3/4 of the trip. I personally don't find it fun(relaxing) to ride my M above 55-60mph. I got 37mpg on the trip. That sucks!! Any ideas on why the mileage was so low. Figured I would break 50mpg since I was all highway driving. Maybe cuz I was riding faster and had the RPM's up high that it was so low. Thanks for any advise. |
