Default Bike mounted cameras? VIDEO UPLOADED 0-110+ in 12 seconds.

Does anyone have 1 ?
I mounted a camera on mine today will take some videos later on when the wife gets home.
I hope to record the exhaust without to much wind noise.
Heres a small video there is to much wind noise, and the camera is to close to the pipes.

I have one on mine but run into the same noise issue. I was thinking of putting the camera in an old baseball card case Card Holder. I think my camera is small enought to fit in there and should block out some of that wind noise.

I use a RAM handlebar mount for both camera and GPS.

Me, too. With the camera mounted behind my windshield, there's a noticeable reduction in wind noise in the playback. No bugs splattered all over the camera, either. I wrap a dark helmet bag over both the chrome speedo cover and the handlebar risers to prevent stray reflections from the windshield appearing in the video.

I've tried to find a good pic, but this is the best I could come up with. If you look closely, you can just make out the ram ball mount to the left of the speedometer, and you can almost see the helmet bag I velcro'd over the speedometer cover and risers. The GPS is to the right of the speedo.

That was taken at the Tucson end of the Redington Pass road - about 40 miles of dirt, sand, and gravel between San Manuel and Tucson, coming into Tucson from the east between the Rincon and the Catalina mountain ranges.

Long, hot, dusty, FUN! Enough harder (and slower) than doing it on my old Yamaha enduro to be really noticeable, but completely do-able. Coming down the steep switchbacks in sand and gravel was... interesting... But I'm fixing to go again. After our rainy season stops. I don't want to make that run through the mud.

How do you deal with vibration? What I did a few minutes ago to is filled the RAM arm with hot glue to see how much vibration that would absorb. I also cut out a piece of tire tube & superglued it to the top of the round part of the camera mount. Two more pieces of rubber at the base of the mount that makes contact with the handlebar.

I'm planning on testing it out today, although with 103F temperature, I might have to wait.

BTW, what is that tennis ball for?

I used some Scotch double stick mounting tape, the one with the foam in the middle, between the camera and the mount (see pic). Works okay, once I got it thick enough, and as long as I DON'T turn the camera down as tight as I can. I've used it with both my Flip video and with my Canon SD 1100 IS. The Flip had less shake than the more expensive Canon, but I recently tried it with the fastest 640x480 video (about an hour with my 8 GB card), and that works okay with my current setup, too.

The tennis ball has the top orange part cut away from the yellow side part for about 6 inches along the seam. That way, I can lift the top up like a lid and reach inside to pull out the wet sponge that I keep in there to wipe off my face shield with whenever the bug splashes gets too annoying.
