Default Difference in M50 and M50 Limitted ???

Can anybody tell me is there really two different models of the M50? I have seen some called the M50 Black, M50, and M50 Limited. The YouTube video of the V&H pipes recently posted is title M50 Limited. He has the same bike/color as me and I did not think mine was limited.

Thanks for any clarification.

I might be mistaken, but I think the differences are these:

M50 Black -- painted black
M50 -- available in "stock" colors for the year
M50 limited -- offered with a special paint color (silver?); I think the limited edition only began in 2007

I don't believe there are any mechanical differences between any of them.

I also ran across this about a 2007 bike:

"A new Boulevard M50 Special Edition (M50Z) will also be available with an aggressive tribal pattern paintscheme, white faced speedometer with a new fuel gauge, stylish clear turn signal lenses and a new seat design with textured side panels."

I hope this helps.

I think the only difference was clear turnsignal lenses, a different stitching on the seat, and maybe one other thing....not much difference I don't think

I have an '07 M50 Limited Edition and I can confirm that the last paragraph posted by DaveMc pretty accurately describes the differences in the LE vs. the stock M50. I would add that tribal flames are painted on the sides of the silver gas tank, as well as on the sides of the rear fender. Since the custom paint job covers the side of the tank they left off the Suzuki plastic emblems that so many people "de-badge" from their tanks.

Regarding the seat, the side panels have a perforated texture to them, which is now included on all the '08 stock M50s. Someone once posted that the LE seat is actually a gel seat, but I can't verify that since I've never seen or sat on a gel seat. However, I can tell you that I find the stock LE seat quite comfortable and since so many people complain about it being uncomfortable maybe it is a gel seat.

Here are a couple photos of my LE M50.

By the way, the LE version cost $100 extra in '07.

My '08 has the trxtured seat sides with Boulevard emblem on the seat. MY TURN signals are clear also. I have the yellow/gray one. So far I find my seat very comfortable also. BTW mine was $100 more than the black.

The 08's have everything the 07 limited has, except for the flame paint job.

I thought they were the same except for the texturing and logo. I bought an LE seat off of FtIrwinM50 and swapped my modded stock seat. Comparing the two seats, the LE feels lower and definitely more comfortable IMHO.
