If memory serves there are pictures of a orange M50 on the forum someplace (too lazy to look them up)

The black with gold metal flake idea is a really cool one imo.

I had a white S40 that looked pretty good-could be interesting on the M.

I kinda dig the Jamacan flag collor scheme- green, black and yellow accents. Think realistic green flames. You could always check out current and vintage Le Mans cars for paint scheme ideas. Ferrari's red and white, Fords blue and white, Lotus' green and yellow, Gulf orange on light blue, red and black or Bently's LMP1 brittish racing green with silver and black hardwear. I still like the brilliant white over sattan black think Triumph Street Tripple.

I'm planning on laying down a sattan black racing stripe over the factory gloss black. It will be there just subtle like ghost flames. NMc

That's a pretty cool program. I may go with a nice light pink...

Thats a good one to do. Did you get the idea from the night rod. I wanted to do that because of the night rod. Post pics when you do it. That will look sweet!

Even though you said no black, I like the Blk W/ Gold accents idea. But if you are dead set against Blk, how about a deep Purple W/ Maroon pinstripes or tribal look. I think that would be dramatic.

I'd love to paint my M50 the M109 orange, that's just an awesome color.

please whatever you do DO NOT paint it flat black.....it makes it look like you painted your bike with a can of spray paint. Doenst look right in my opinion.....

I'd go with something bright to be different...maybe a Orange pearl or White with a flake....Maybe candy apple red.....something like that.

And that's why you don't like the flat black. Orange! really? I know, I know, but I can't stand these bright colors. There are these two guys in my town that have GSXR's. One is a flourescent orange, the other, flourecsent yellow. No thank you. Give me the monotone, hues. Then again, look at my wardrobe. It's mostly blacks and greys (no, im not gothic, or a harley leathers kind of guy). Whatever though, that actually is why I like this forum, everyone does something different and gives us all ideas.

If your car or truck (I'm assuming you have one) is a cool color, then paint it to match. If not, then have them BOTH painted the same color, while your friend is in a good mood
