I wear a Scorpion Exo Full Face Helmet, Leather/Mesh gloves, a Power Trip "Army Delta" mesh jacket with pads, an old pair of black army jump boots and blue jeans.

It's hot and humid here in Good ole Alabama but I figure its better to be safe than sorry. My harley buddies laugh at me but I dont care.

Joe Rocket Alter Ego pants and Jacket; Shoei RF-1000, Olympia gloves, Icon Field Armor Boots.

Occasionally ride w/o the Rocket pants. Always wear them on longer trips or when I'm going to be traveling higher speeds.

Yesterday, I was wearing a fullface helmet, Scorpion mesh riding jacket with armor, vented gloves, regular jeans and over the ankle boots. Even though it was going to be 96 degress. This was the way I was taught and is what I always wear when riding (all 3 monthes).
Well, I was coming home from riding in the mountains with my father-in-law, when I made a newbie mistake making a lefthand turn on a country road. Needless to say I went down. I was doing 15 to 20 mph. The only damage to the bike was a dented headlight rim, a broken footpeg, and scratches on the tank and turnsignals (which says a lot about the ruggness of the M-50). The only injury I recieved was a very bruised EGO.
When I got home UPS had left at my front door the pair of Kevlar riding jean I had ordered.
You don't have to show me twice about suiting up.

Most every time I ride with ear plugs, a Suomy Vandal full face, Cortech Armored leather jacket ( I take the armor out so I can fold in to fit in my hard case) , Alpine star gloves and Icon boots. Sometimes I will wear Levis denim jacket if I am not getting on the highway.

I really should get something for my legs.

I got my jacket from these guys:

Full face, with or without the shield depending on heat, goggles if the shield is off, Generally over the ankle boots, jeans and leather coat, though I leave that at home when it gets to hot, I get sluggish when I get to hot so I'm safer without the coat when it gets 80+ simply from reaction speed.

Summertime, short ride: Jeans, T-shirt, Half-helmet, gloves
Summertime, long ride/inclement weather: Jeans, Joe Rocket Ballistic Jacket, Gloves, Half-helmet (raingear and full face helmet in inclement weather)

Winter, short ride: Jeans, Ballistic Jacket, Gloves, Full-face helmet
Winter, Long ride: Ballistic pants and Jacket (they zip together, it's nice) Full-face helmet, neck gator, glove liner, gloves, wool socks.

I always have on the gloves (Icon Pursuit) because I work with my hands and need to keep them protected, and I always have boots on too, X-element. Don't really understand the shorts and tennis shoes people around here.

I'm in Georgia so it doesn't really get much lower than about 15-20F. I suit-up fully when it's cold in the morning during the winter months. Right now it's around 100F everyday and have only worn my jacket when I was doing a 300mi trip one day. I have a 32.5mi one way trip to work on some country roads, usually cruising at 70mph.

I always wear an armored or leather jacket, full face (Scorpion) helmet, gloves and long pants. Although, sometimes I will wear sneakers...only because I haven't found something I like to wear (boots) for riding.

I wear a full suit of FirstGear Rainier TPG armored gear, though I substitute leather chaps for the overpants when it's not raining. I've seen too many nasty things to people who ride squid to do it myself. If I should suddenly become a high-speed pedestrian, I want to be properly dressed for the occasion.

my riding gear rain or shine or heat ... the what if always enters my head and it's the what if I want to avoid.

Plus fully closed shoes or boots depending on the weather and jeans always.

I usually ride with my Tourmaster Intake mesh jacket, fully armored. I mostly cruise with my half-helmet, a pair of sturdy jeans, and work boots. If serious highway riding is going down, I'll put on the full face Scorpion EXO 400 and Tourmaster armored riding pants.

When I commute to work (less than 2 miles) I often forego the jacket (never the helmet, though).

I love touring in the full riding outfit..I just feel like a warrior impervious to the elements. Last fall I was riding the Kanc in New Hampshire when an October rainshower sprung up..temps were in the low 50's. I kept jammin' on and loving it! The mesh jacket is pretty damn warm with the rain liner and insulated liner zipped into it - I've worn it below freezing in relative comfort

MotoGP armored mesh jacket, full face helmet and leather gloves 100% of the time. If i'm riding to work and wearing slacks, I wear FirstGear overpants. I also wear a pair of nice hiking boots I found to be perfect for riding. No clunky heel to get caught up on the footpeg, reinforced ankle support, waterproof and windproof, and they've got oil resistant/slip resistant soles, all that and they're as comfy as a pair of sneakers (i've actually taken to wearing them even when not riding)
In the colder weather, I've got liners for the jacket and pants, and a pair of military issue subzero leather gloves (I also have the silk undergloves to go with them if I ever find myself riding in subzero (F) temps)

Whenever I ride I go out in full gear. In the summer or winter I'll always have the Joe Rocket full length leather gloves and Joe Rocket Sonic boots, but the rest changes depending on season. In warm times I'll have on my Shift Airborne mesh jacket and FirstGear Mesh Tex textile mesh pants. In cool to colder times I'll have my First Gear HT Overpants and Pilot 3/4 length jacket. I do have a few other items that get worn here and there, but these are the staples. I've found that the one time expenditure for full gear is far more comfortable and less costly and less hassle in the long run than spending money on hospital bills and buying supplies to keep wounds clean.
