| Ok I will be posting more pic's of my light bar for the M50.. this weekend. You can follow this thread also http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...te-teaser.html I had to order a 12 foot bar, to start this project, 1 foot was scraped, as a proto-type, I have it worked out and after mine, I will have 10 bars to sell, you will have to order your own lights...Optilux 1500 Series and turns to mount to the bar, just let me know what the shaft is(it has to be 3/8 or 10mm, to work), I will supply the bar, brackets, and screws to mount lights and bar. Price will be $95.00 plus shipping...I have to get a weight of it to give price, Im guessing around $8 or $9 dollars to US address's. I will take the 1st 10 emails and payments, and you are in , I will ship in less then 2 weeks. Flameredrt@hotmail.com Thanks Update..... Shipping, is $9.00 to US $21.00 to Canada Any other Country's, ask, I will find out Last edited by 07M50Limited; 07-24-2008 at 04:48 PM. |

| I called Rallylights to order the 1502's, they are on back order till next week. He has 150 of the 1500. he also seems to have the better price at about half or better off. I put the order in for the 1502's and he will ship when they arrive. Back order and ship to Canada, It will probably be the middle of August before I get it. LOL

| Do you have any final pics with the lights mounted on the bike? It looks like they go in front of or under the lower triple tree, in which case they may cause a problem with crash bars. I moved my turn signals to under the triple tree at one point and they hit my MC Enterprises crash guard.

forgot pic's are here http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...te-teaser.html I dont have or plan on a crash bar, if you have one, you have lots of places to mount lights, and wont need this. Last edited by 07M50Limited; 07-25-2008 at 01:14 PM. | |

| Found another set of turns. A set of 4 for $30.00, they are however only 2 wire. he also sells a converter that makes the light glow at half for running lights and then full for turns. 2 converters are $20.00 for the pair so you could just put it on the fronts only. and he lists the measurements. 4 Arrow Chrome Signals Yamaha V Star V Max V Virago 750 - (eBay.ca item 310069195420 end time 29-Jul-08 02:21:42 EDT)

| I was just out looking at the lights on my M50 trying to decide on size and such, when I put the key in to look at the running lights and noticed I don't have rear running lights...DOH. ![]() This makes the decission even easier. I think I'm going with the last one I posted this way i can even add rear running lights with the converter he sells. they seem to be just a tad smaller but the shape is what I'm really after. want to get away from the stock round ones. He also lists a class 2 laser driver module that looks interesting but not available yet. I'm going to be watching for that.

| After 2 very long days, I have the light bars at the half way stage...I did work extra hard on one, that I will mount on my bike tomorrow and get pic's. That will give everyone a chance to see what it looks like, At this stage, I can offer them as a turn only relocate, and at a later date you can drill and tap them for what ever lights you choose, or as a turn relocate and light bar, using the lights I listed...will take pic's both ways....They are drilled to 5/16 now, and you need to know what turns you will use, so I can make them fit. when these are gone, thats it, I have 5 bars left. The projects are going on hold until winter, I'm missing to many nice days at work. |

| I had to splice and make the wires, about 6-7 inch's longer, but wanted to hide them, so it was worth it, also replaced headlight bulb, with the Silver Star, while I had the headlight apart, you can see I tucked the wires under the triple tree, and ran them up thu the same hole brake line uses. Installed pic's in next post. |

| This is what it will look like for turn relocate only, you will see flats and screw holes for the lights in theses pic's, but they wont be there, if thats the way you want it for a turn relocate only. I didn't clear-coat it...just touched it up with some Mother's Alum. polish
