| if you check my other threads, old bikes frame was totaled, have been switching to new frame, have 1 plug left, can't find where or what it goes to ! please help....(the routing seems to be done right since everthing else is right next to where it plugs to... i know the black one in the pic is for the headlight, but the white one is the problem.. thanks ![]() Last edited by gxsilver; 07-23-2008 at 11:26 AM. |

| I can see the pictures. What I don't see is that plug on my bike. I slid my tank back real quick and looked; didnt see that plug. It may have something to do with the pair valve... but I have no basis for that conclusion. It looks like your pair valve is still attached. I am sure that someone has their tank removed right now for something and will be able to look.

| its kinda pulled out of the way to show it there...it naturally sits around the key solenoid, but there is a green plug that goes to the key part, not this one...and the pair valve is all connected, from what i can tell everything is connected...not sure what else to look for

| I see no photos nor any image code in your original post. It's often the case that there are unused plugs that allow for different hardware in other markets.

| Clint- you can't even see the pictures? Weird. I see two pictures; a shot of the left side of a black M50, tank slid back about 6", part of the front jug, and a white two wire plug hangin out. The second picture is a closeup of gxsilver holding the white plug with black Mechanix gloves on. Anyway, if its part of the headlight, I seem to remember there was an extra plug in the headlight casing when I changed my H4 bulb a few weeks back. I would not worry about it too much until you get the bike up and running. When something doesnt work, you will know what its for!

| No pics for me either, but Marc may have your answer. If it is a white, 2 wire plug, with an orange/blue wire and a black/white wire, that is the aux power plug that hides away in the headlight housing.

| Ok, so I can't see the pictures today. They were there earlier. But yes, it was an orange/blue and black/white wire going into a white plug. The plug terminations were perpendicular to each other.

| hey guys, i think your right, i think i found something showing this to be an "extra" plug, yes maybe for a light bar or something.....i did take some pics while taking bike apart, and see this plug just sitting there inside the headlight, while all else is plugged in !
