OK...got the model done today, it it shaped to match the flow of the front forks, also pic's of removing the mount from the rear turns to use on the front, Any 10mm stud mount turns will work, on this bar, I don't know about the state laws, but I want to keep the running lights, in front,so I will remove the guts from the front, and mount them on the rear adapters, they are a three wire set-up...if you didn't want the running light, the rears, could be mounted for turns only with the 2 wire set-up.. Here is some teaser pic's, will work on it more tomorrow, and post before and after pic's with it mounted with driving lights... Have a towel handy, I know your gonna drool...

| Awesome! That looks about ten times better than any of the "professional" $300 units I've seen for sale, that look just like every other one for every other bike...

Just got home after 7 hours at work, wife is saying yard needs cut and trimed...lol. You will see milled pads for light mounts, and mount brackets, set screws for the turn lock downs, and a pocket at rear for wires to be run thru....will post more after the yard is done...lol....Im going to put it all together, and mount it for some pic's, I will wait to wire it up, I want to take it back into work tomorrow and make a detailed drawing of it, in case I need to make some...lol...I also want to spray it with clear-coat. Wait till you see this on the bike!!!!!!

I didn't have time to take the stock turns off, but got a couple pic's, of it installed, will look nice with the stock rubber mounts removed. I will take some better ones, when I wire it up, it was dark out by the time I got these.

Played around with it after work, found a flaw, as you can see in this pic, its almost impossible to get to mounting screws to adjust, it can be done, but I'm going to turn brackets around and rotate the mounting pad 25 degree's and it will be much better...will post updated pic's when done. As for making these bars, anyone that wants one, I will make the bar available(Bar and Mounts only), it is made for the lights I bought, and you will need to buy them , you will also need the rear turn adapters as show above or have a set with 10mm threads. If someone wants to start looking for a set of turns that will work, can be 10mm mount or something close, I have not been able to find just the rubber adapter for the rear that is needed, I can only find it on a complete unit. and they want around $57.00 each. So anyone interested, hang tight, and please, if you have any input, let me know. As for a price, the bar and mounts will be close to $100.00, allot of work in it, cost of light kit was $36 for the chrome, the black are on close out while they last at $19.95. here was link Optilux 1500 Series So with out the turns your around $136 or a little less with black lights. If anyone knows a cheaper route on the turns, let me know, I cant make the rubber adapters, or I would...lol, and I dont think anyone wants to pay that much for the unit and just use the rubber mount. Thats the only snag, with this project.

Thanks again to DJ, I had a spare front turn mount, sitting here...so took out the razor knife, sliced it off, next came the hacksaw to cut it off to size smooth, dug Thu the drawers and what did I find, a 1/4-27 pipe fitting, looks very close, about .020 bigger in Dia., next took a pipe tap, ran it all the way in, you wont be cutting any threads, but it will ream the hole out so, the fitting can go in, next took at the almighty super glue, globed it on, and twisted the rubber mount on, took a few pic's, and will let it sit over night, I'm pretty sure it will hold, was a very tight fit, without the glue. This could be the answer to bring the price down on the project.
