Default thickness gauge for valve adjustment?

I tried searching the forum but didn't come up with anything... Where can i get a thickness gauge for adjusting the vavles? Stealership?
I feel like I'm missing something, sorry if this a stupid question.

Don't know for sure but I would think a regular feeler gauge would work as long as it has a blade( or combination of blades) that is the correct thickness. They come with straight or angled blades.

Yeah, it's called a "feeler gauge" and is readily available in auto parts and hardware stores. It'll come in a set, usually with both metric and that other, stupid system.

Advance Auto has them. They have two kinds. Get the one the that has the .004, .005, .006, .007, .008, etc. Then use the .004 for the intake and .008 for the exhaust.

Another tip- buy 2 gauges. They are about $5 each.

Then check this out: valve adjustment tool

You guys rock. Thanks. I had a feeling it was something simple like that. I will head over to the local auto part stores to pick one or two up.
