Sweet - thanks. Definitely sat on other bikes whose bars were more comfy, but the M had so many other things I liked and fit me, I figured bars would be the easiest to switch...even if it does involve some trial and error.

Anyone know the measurement between centres of the risers?

I am also considering some new bars and risers and have been looking the the complete sets of drag bars.

Check the chart in the link above. It should give you all the info you need.

Measured the width of m50 stock bars. According to Flanders chart, they're 31"...in real life, I measured 35". Hmm...Now my confidence in choosing bars of that chart is shaken.

Ideal what be to pick a few from the chart that seem like they would work, then roll my bike upside those bikes. Oh well...

Took a 72 miles jaunt from Clt to Huntersville to Belmont then back home. What a gorgeous day!

the way i found the bars i'll be putting on is having them in my hands and sitting on the bike.

as long as they'll fit in the triple tree, the rest is all about ergonomics (i believe)

Did you measure a "naked" bar, or with grips and end weights ? I can tell you I put on 32" drag bars, and they were pretty darn close to stock bar width.

ahh thats your typical Oklahoma day just in the wrong state.... Everyone i talk to in palm springs refers to when water falls from the sky as a rain event... few far inbetween and sprinkles

Rode to the movies yesterday afternoon. Made a left on the way home and took the long way. It had cooled off a little and felt so good to ride. Only like a 20 mile detour but helped me relax and clear my head. Plus I hadnt been on the bike in over a week so it was nice to be on two wheels again.

What an awesome weather day on Saturday. It felt like October! No humidity and low 60's in the morning & warmed up to mid-80's and not a cloud in the sky in the afternoon. Washed & shined up the bike and had a great relaxing ride with good company.

I rode 140 2-up miles with my girlfriend and ended up in Senioa, GA and ate here Maguire's Family and Friends - Irish Pub and Family Restaurant in Senoia, GA . Great place, good food.

the side.............
to higher it I used a piece of wood ( 7x7 cm) and used 8cm/6mm bolts to replace the originals.
