Added Kury Swingwing pegs today but they don't feel too stable. The mounts are loose, not a bolt issue but where the mount fits in where the spring goes. It wobbles a lot more than the standard pegs.

Had the bike washed yesterday by two Texas hotties at Spencer's Corner. The blonde left an imprint of her a$$ and hand on my tank.

A few weeks ago I added new flags mounts to the sissy bar and removed one from the luggage rack, centered the one I left on. Bought some new flags for special occasions. The old, dirty ones I'm leaving on the bike for daily use. The blue bag is not on the bike anymore. It looks a lot better.

Also, crossed 10,000 miles on June 1st. Owned less than one year.

The Swingwings do feel floppy, but I have had zero issues with mine. I checked the allen bolt for tightness after a couple rides and it is still super snug. They are a great idea for those that don't want the big bulky floorboards (ME) but want a bigger place to rest your feet on a long ride.

Enjoy 'em!

I got them to extend my legs on long rides... even though I already have a set of John's Kits Forwards on the bike. I made sure I put Loctite blue on the adjustment bolt. I heard they come loose and even just riding down to Ace Hardware prior to adding the Loctite, which was about six miles round trip, the bolt loosened a little bit on one side. I have to keep checking it to feel comfortable.

Right side no doubt.....my stilettos with stirrups do the same thing, only on the right side. Should have reversed threads on the right side.

I was thinking the same thing. Either that or they should have equipped their pegs with self-locking threads or a cotter pin.

I debadged her today. I really like the look. Very clean and slender.

Iso-pegs, shift peg and iridium plugs are on the way.

I wanna turn a wrench!

Looking good Effex.

What kind of tank bag is that? I'm interested.

Do one side at a time and leave it loose enough that you can get the cross bar in. Pretty easy. No worrries

Effex, how do you like the Suzuki OEM floorboards? The stock pegs and my 34" inseam and size 12 shoe does not get along. I know those boards are small but are they big enough to give some support and movement? I just joined the forum so I'm going to do some more research on here before I make a post for help.

Hey TNM50,

To be completely honest, the OEM boards were not my first choice of consideration when I was picking out stock peg replacements. I wanted the longer Cobras. Only problem is, motorcycle-superstore didn't have anything in stock, so I "settled" for the OEM floorboards.

The good news is, to my surprise, they are awesome. I wear size 11 bike boots, and couldn't be happier with the added comfort. The boards don't seem that big, and they really aren't, but they are the perfect size for me to rest my feet and cover about 80% of my foot. They also give nearly the same ground clearance as the stock pegs because they are the same width.

All in all, I couldn't be happier with the upgrade. 2+ hour trips start to make my legs very uncomfortable. Granted I only had a 2 hour (one-way) trip with the floorboards so far, but my legs didn't even begin to feel uncomfortable.

I'm doing a 5 hour one-way trip this weekend, i'll let you know more once I'm there
