Epoch, very nice looking bike.

Just my opinion, but it looks like you're sitting way too far back. Scootch (is that a word) up a bit and maybe it won't feel like you're reaching out so far for the handlebars.

I rode mine today...and got stung by a bee on my wrist. This is the last spring I go without a summer set of gaunlet gloves. It now looks like I have hellboy's hand. It's huge, red and swollen....and not in a good way.

However, the doctor called it a mild reaction...and I have it iced for now.

I got stung by a yellow jacket in the bottom lip last year mowing my grass. I looked liked that freaking big liped dude from the old Fat Albert cartoon. Hurt like Hades.

now.
Yeah, I figured that out on the ride home. A new seat, specifically for the purpose of moving me forward a couple more inches, is one of my upper priorities for the bike this Summer.

I know there are forward control kits out there. Has anybody ever heard of a kit to bring the pegs closer?

Don't know how tall you are but Lynda is about 5/3 and was getting back aches until I put C-50 bars on her M. Real comfy for her now. Still a slight issue with the stock seat but we are working on it. No problem reaching the foot controls.

I bought her a set of John's forward controls. I'm only 5 days in and I'm already modding a "pre modded" bike!

Hopefully shipping doesnt take too long, I really need to stretch out a bit more.

you'll love the forwards...super easy install and great quality!! They stretch you out just enough! (I'm 6'3") so for you they should be perfect!

I just got back from a two day trip through the Kootenays in Southern B.C. This was my first real trip on the M50, I had mostly been burning around town and some quick 1-2 hour runs out to stretch her legs and burn out the carbon...

The bike was a blast. I encountered it all over two days, beautiful dry twisties to rip through yesterday, to a full on cloudburst and then sustained rains all the way home. The bike was great through it all, whether I was making the V&H Cruzers sing coming out of the corners, or just guiding me through some of the heaviest rains I have ever been through, I always felt confident in myself and in my bike, which made me one incredibly happy M50 owner.

Aw crap... I was gonna ride to work again today, but then checked the weather forecast

Periods of thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may be severe with damaging winds and large hail. Highs in the mid 80s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of thunderstorms 80 percent.

Nuts, think I'll skip that.

I rode to work for the first time today. It may not sound like a big deal but my commute is 27 miles one way spanning 5 different freeways. Lots of merging and lane changing on pretty darn busy freeways here in SoCal. I made it without incident unless you count the suicidal bug that I annihilated with my helmet.

Cant wait for the ride home!

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well
preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,
shouting "Holy %%%%! What a ride!"

Installed Motocomm Rider Link St-1. Now I can talk to my passenger when riding 2-up. Also easy to connect to a FRS/GMRS radio for bike to bike comms or MP-3 player or GPS or Cell phone.

Nothing too special, but I removed the tank for the first time to familiarize myself with the process and I installed the Sylvania Silverstar aftermarket lamp.

Nice relaxing 1-1/2hr ride tonight. Man just 20 minutes east of me a bad storm rolled through apparently. A couple trees were down across the road and had to slow down and swerve. Alot of leaves on the road in some spots. Must have been an isolated mircoburst storm. Beautiful sunset on the way back however made it worth while. It did hit 97 degrees today.

Looked at it under the cover as I back my truck out for work this morning. Rained off and on most of the week and supposed to be 95ish today and tomorrow

Why would we hate you? Don't worry, the weather will be changing around here soon. it better because both of my hobbies (Go fast boating/ridin') need better weather

Yesterday I got out for a good two hour ride around the minneapolis lakes area and today I rode to work for the first time. I'm praying it stays clear all day for the ride home
