Beautiful 74 degree ride into work this morning. Just puts you in a better mood when you take the bike!

Strapped the GPS to the bee to see how whacked the speedo is. Typical MC, about 9% high. Indicated 80 = 72.8 for real <sigh>.

Rode South across the border to Blaine Washington. Had lunch and rode back. Good day for a ride, sunshine, good temps, almost too hot sitting in line at the border but well worth the time spent. Next time we will head towards Mount Baker

Bah! I rode mine for about an hour and a half on the freeway home, only to have enough time for a quick shower and a piece of toast before I had skedaddle to work. Otherwise, I might still be out riding right now.

Hey TrikeDice, nice pic. I've been shopping for a screen and the one you've got looks just the thing. Is it a Memphis Shades Hellcat?

I'm assuming you mean the above pic. In which case, yes it is a Hellcat.

Took a ride yeasterday with a bunch of guys to Red Eyes Dock Bar in Maryland. What a blast! Came back to the marina this morning and went out on my boat this afternoon. Rode about 330 miles at 70+ MPH. I'm fried....need water, 800mg Ibuprofen and sleep!

Rode to Weatherford via I-20, then to Granbury via Highway 51 and back home up 377. I put about 114 miles on her yesterday.

Rode 325 miles yesterday. Road Hwy 100 between Cedartown & Summerville. Nice high speed twisties with virtually no traffic. Good bike road.

Georgia Roller, Does your bike have the back rest w/o the pillion on it? If so where did you get that and is it comfortable? I need to bring my bars back some to get a more comfortable riding position, especially since I added the forward controls. I'm 5'9" and I rode a good bit this weekend and with a weak lower back it got a little painful at times. Any help is appreciated

Got the ole girl all waxed and stuff for a nice long ride with the pops and on the way home we figured we would drive through a flippin monsoon. Fat rain hurts a ton at 65. Good times.

Yes. I got it from Grasshopper Suzuki It does help on long day rides. I'm about 5'-10" and I do have to ride with pretty straight arms to really be able to feel the benefit of the backrest, but it does help and I put it on for longer rides. I don't think you can have it on if you are using the second seat. It's one or the other.

If you need a backrest & a second seat at the same time you'll probably have to get a Mustang or Corbin Dual Touring seat with integrated backrest...............but those are serious money as well.

Georgia Roller, I have the Grasshopper on my bike with the stock seat and pillion. I also have the Flanders C6 bar which gives 3 inch more rise and 3 inch more pullback.
Went for a couple hour ride two-up yesterday to test the DJ Drive - two thumbs up.

De-baffled. It sounded like I was torturing cats in the garage. I was glad to finally cut through the back plate. The M is sounding pretty sweet now. Don't know what the neighbors are going to think of it at 6am though. If my GTI has four flats in the driveway this week, then I'll have my answer.
