Got a new helmet, installed a new slipstream windshield and got the John's Forward Controls in the mail so I had to get those put on. I only took it for a short ride after I was done, but I really think I'm liking the results.

Ah yes memories. Xmas night in Thunder Bay Artic Cat ZR800 3 ft of snow and -15 c, driving straight down the highway because the plows were not out. And for my brothers and sisters in the southern states, having to endure those rainy xmas nights, a ZR800 is a snowmobile not a bike (just to let you know, oh yeah snow is the white stuff and all I can say is bring on the global warming) heavy sarcasim,, yes i'm bitter.

Adjusted the shifter to make more space for my new H-D boots and ordered Kuryakyn flamin' switchblade pegs. Looking to rotate my bars back an inch or so once I get to Home Depot to pick up some T-handle hex wrenches.

Finally buttoned up the Hobo's bike. Added heated grips, C-50 bars for more pull back, driving lights, headlight modulator and SS bulb, 6 circuit fuse panel and relays for added electrics, cord for battery charger, Stebel air horn, 12 volt weatherproof outlet, GPS mount and finally the windshield needs to be put back on. Will test fit the Nelson-Rigg bags at a later date.
Previously installed crashbars, HyperLight modulating brake lights, Grasshopper backrest, left and right throttle rockers too. Now I get to dream up a couple flag poles.

Today I put some "DYNA BEADS" in my front tire.
Handlebars were starting to wobble a bit about 50-40 mph under deceleration when i let go.
I'll post later on if it helps.

Took off the PAIR valve...what a bee-othch. Took off the front fender, tightened up slop in throttle and readjusted the clutch. Riding pretty nice now.

burnchassis.....my bars "vibrate/shutter" very fast side to side at about 40-50 when slowing down. Is that what yours do? Do I need to balance the tire, or do something like what you did? Thanks

Rode it to work again, but this time before coming home I beat up on mickey. Like the sound so far... not obnoxiously loud either.

My dad uses them on his goldwing when he gets the tires done. He's been happy with them for 2 sets of tires so far.

I can't tell a difference in the balance of my front tire yet.
I thought it was balanced just fine, but tried to make it better...no difference.

Woke up this morning to see that it had stopped raining for the first time in 4 days, and excitedly got up to wash the bike. As soon as that soapy cloth hit the front fender, I felt raindrops hitting the back of my neck. I begrudgingly finished washing her, and then pulled her into the garage to dry her. Lo and behold, half an hour later the sun actually comes out, so I roller her back out and rode for about 1 1/2 hours. Hopefully, if the weather stays decent through tonight, I'll get to ride her to work, too!

Installed some Iso grips. NICE. I found the stock throttle would slowly slip through my grip. I have no interest in riding with a death grip.

Painted some of the shiny bits, black. Still wet and the winds howling outside so pics to follow.

Saw another M50 on the road for the first time. Possibly Womper. Had me confused with the big driving lights but I've just caught up on the latest vandalism/crap. What part of town should I be avoiding?

Broke off my right side kuryakyn scythe mirror! Sucks!!! I didn't know my own strength... now i have to replace it.

Oh, i learned how difficult it is to unscrew a bolt with red lock-tite on it! Broke 2 wrenches (cheap O harbor freight crap).
