Stared at it when I came home, and wished I had ridden to work this morning... It wouldn't be in the shape it's in now if I had...

As cardude says, I got my swerve on today. A nice 200km jaunt in the country, still lots of sand on those side roads.

I pulled over at the hwy onramp for routine check. Was told my sticker wasn't renewed , then told me I was driving while license was suspended and that I was on probation. Fishy because I've never been on probation and I don't have any unpaid fines, which is what the suspension was for. We got to talking about it and he then asked if anybody close might have used my name to impersonated. Hmm very fishy. Calling him toMorrow when he finds out what the stuff he listed was from LOL. Wow good day gone sour. Had to have bike towed to my house which was $250.

Finally got nice enough weather to get mine out of the garage today. Been sitting since the end of October and fired up like I just used it yesterday! Best money I've spent is on the Battery Tender for it. In the high 50's today and to be around 65 tomorrow so will take a longer run with it tomorrow. Then, once again, the weather is to get cooler for a few days - back in the 40's with rain and maybe some mixed precip. Only thing I did to prep for storage was put a full tank of super premium in it and park the tires on a couple of pieces of carpet (to keep it off the cement) - seems to do the trick!

In the future I'd walk into the gas station and pick up one of the little packets of fuel stabilizer...the couple bucks is worth it if the gas is anything but perfect to prevent gummed everything..

Been sick for a while, found out yesterday i have double pneumonia... today, sitting around trying not to go nuts, I ate a candy and shattered a tooth... my point? The bright spot is I got to ride my bike to the dentist and back cuz my wife had the cage... Yay... and I got to look at lots of mods and things online that I wanna do to her when I get some cash....

Got ran off the highway by some a-hole today. Luckily I ran up on the rumble strips and gathered it up. Freaked out on the guy at a traffic light and got his lic.#. Calling the State police tomorrow.

Went out this morning to find a screw in my rear tire right in the middle of the tread. Was releived to find that it was a tiny scew and didn't even come close to puncturing all the way.. apprently it had been there a while, the screw head was so worn down I thought it was a nail until I saw the threads.. Rode home from work, and some moron pullled out in front of me in a no passing zone and decided that 20 mph was an appropriate speed for a 55 mph country road, after all there was a stop sign 3/4 of a mile away, so why bother speeding up to the safe and legal speed limit.. She got an earful at the stop sign, something along the lines of "If your not going to pay attention and just pull out in front of a motorcycle, the least you could do keep it withing 10 mph of the speed limit ya stupid <expletives deleted>"

Well, I made the mistake of using that word in the car when a woman cut me off. Unfortunately my wife was with me. Let's just say the reaction was not good.
