Well yesterday, I took the footpeg brackets off as they were reduced to solid rust and were dissolving fast, repainted them with about 8 coats of hammerite smooth, putting them back on this afternoon along with the forward controls kit.

I also fitted a new horn as the zuki one was shyte and had packed up months ago.
Took off the back rack wire brushed like a man posessed and have put 6 coats (so far) of plastikote BBQ paint. Then I am fitting the 48 ltr top box ready for the Euro trip.

I have also made up an LED loom ready to fit into the Speedo cowling, then I can get rid of the silver blister atop the tank. I have also just bought an alarm, haven't had chance to fit it yet.

Hangers, loom and cowling

It was a decent movie, if you like comedic misadventure flicks.

Like the idea for losing the tank blister while maintaining the lights... Ever since I painted, I've come to really dislike it. Did you ever decide if you were going with the grinder mounting points or using them for something more utilitarian?

I haven't yet decided about the Brackets, all of the mods are in prep for a final full strip down and a matt green paint job in the Diamond Jim style. So I may be putting a piece of aluminium deck plating on it to remount the pilot lights, for some reason I cant get the FI light to work remotely.... Yet.

I seem to have seven wires, where six will do the job, without an up to date wiring diagram I am a wee bit baffled.

Ohe yeah, womper, I will definately give a wee trip report, we are visiting Amiens (The Somme), Passchendaele (Ypres) and the Normandy landing beaches, plus hopefully a few others in between.

Police blotter-
Mickey was savagely beaten to death by with a pipe today. The suspect, a white male between 20 and 25 years of age, aproximitaly 6 foot tall and 200 lb, is still at large. The suspect escaped on a black and lime green motorcycle, laughing maniacally.

Tuesday I added my old Rumble Road Premiums. It was a tight fit and I would have been very happy if they worked but either the speakers blew or the tech that wired them, crossed the wires somewhere because they sound ike $**T. Today I added a TomTOm Rider 2nd Edition. Pictures to come soon.

k i just said F it and drilled an angled hole into the side of the kury iso peg, just under the allenkey bolt. draggers are on slight angle but i haven't had any peg scrappage since turning into an uphill driveway going into costco parking lot a while back so i should be fine. predrilled hole then tapped to fit the draggers perfect. hope this helps out.

sorry for crappy iphone camera quality

The Hobo and I installed the Enterprise windshield on her bike. Looks pretty good too. Many many thanks to Ray Nielsen for the pics and hints about modding the shield to fit.
More stuff in the mail to play with later.

I laid it down today. Go me! I got in the turn lane, slowed down for traffic in front of me, started my turn and next thing I know I was hopping off. I'm still not sure exactly what happened. Broke the end of the clutch lever off and bend the screw that holds on the bar weight and few minor scratchs.

I need to build a stash tube.. i got a great place to put one (I lost the cover that covers up the support for the fuse box) I hope that drilling includes a hole saw, haha

I missed mine today, out of town for a funeral, and it's a gorgeous day, coulda really used the ride today.. I need to get a pick up so I can take her where ever i go. It's supposed to snow over the next couple days though..
