put rear seat back on (as it doesn't change anything about the numbness in the tail) and shined her up before taking her to work (the bike)

Finally debaffled my stock exhaust. Prior to debaffling, my wife said I should buy new pipes; after debaffling, she was impressed.

Got her 1/3 of the way debaffled... Advice, don't take short cuts, buy the extra $10 small saw its a pain if you try with just the 3, espically if you bend the tip up trying to pop the mickey weld. Well I got had to buy two, the 1" didn't fit on my 08, had to buy an 1.5". 3 inch left a small ring I will be grinding down with a dremel after I get the F---ing baffle out. Bought the stuff to make fibrosleeves, lowes has the 5 gallon paint strainers. Will work on it tomorrow after work, I'll just back into the space as far as I can and hope no ones notices my jacked up baffle..

Thrashed the bollox off it all the way to the jet wash last night.... got there.... stopped, filled it up, .... started raining so I just turned around took the long way home.

Jumped on it this morning (Still raining, bike still dirty) noticed back down to 1 bar on the fuel gauge. Also I am now 327 miles past the 10K service mark...... Bugger!

So now I have to clean it AND get it serviced.... Bugger,Bugger,Bugger!!

I've gotta check my maintenance book and see when my next service is...I think I'm about 4 or 5k over.

I guess that 400 miles a week back & forth to work adds up quick.
