Thanks. I was pleased with the result. Not that hard, but it gave me something to do when money is tight and the weather is cold.

Talking My Harley

Removed tank and fenders for custom paint. Removed airbox to see what she would look like. All with the help of this forum. Thanks for the help. I cant wait to get my parts back with my girl Harley Quinn painted on! It will feel great to call her Harley in front of my Harley buddies and wait for them to correct me! I'll post pics when I get her back. Any other M50's with a comic theme?

i've done nothing since dec 2.... when i put it in storage..

but in storage i got them to:
flush the rad (1st time for everything)
change the plus (ditto)
change front and back tires
inspect clutch/brakes
valve adjustment

i think that's about it...

I like the idea of drilling the pipes better...
you can't reverse it, so you're commited
drilling can make your bike sound different than the rest...

each their own i guess...

athens, first step i would have done is change out that damn seat! heh (oh wait, i did do that)

Just washed what bike I have left, then applied Pig Snot. Now, all I need is my tank and fenders back from the paint shop! What a horrible day weatherwise not to have my girl out on the road.

Bought some kryon plastic adhesion paint to fix the black peeling off the plastic bits and got to work. Btw Kryon will eat through the bottom the plastic cup your using to get a tiny bit on a brush to fill in the screw head, but however will readily wipe off your clutch side switch housing.
