I debaffled it. I lurv the sound SO MUCH better. I tried to put in a fibrosleeve but I am going to have to order the same stuff the other's have suggested. I tried using the muffler packing from the Suzuki shop for $5 and I waisted 2 hours and got cut up trying to get the darn thing in. Gave up and for the most part I am happy with the sound I have have now. Did not demickey.

Let's see, I also put on my cobra saddle bag supports and put my $100 ebay bags on that someone on here suggested and I am very happy with those. I put locktight on all the bolts that tend to come loose.

I checked my tire pressure to find they both did not have enough pressure to hardly register. Aired them both up to 42 psi. Polished my mirrors cuz the first owner never cleaned the clear protection crap off of them and it got baked on by the sun!

Winshield brackets will be in tomorrow so I can put that on. Also getting my 1/2 helmet tomorrow so I can ride without looking like a geek! I honestly think I don't get the wave sometimes cuz of my helmet :0 Besides, looking forward to just feeling a little free!

I left her home today...it's pouring and I just wasn't in the mood to ride through it.

Tomorrow will be nice...and I'll ride then.

It means a non-shiny or dull finish instead of what is on there now.

I performed a lumpectomy, wiped it down and took a few pics.

Also, I tried to kick off a version of Mfifyguy’s "post your latest pics" thread on our C50 neighbor’s forum.

Installed Flame ISO grips, including the cerimonial blood letting when removing the stock grips. My Spanner wrench finally showed up so I clicked down to 1, much better. wish it was easier to change. Rode around a bit in a parking lot to get a feel for the suspension setting without a helmet and noticed for the first time how much mechanical noise is reflected back at me by the windshield. I'll be pulling that off as soon as I find some allen wrenches, unless I go on long trips.

Rode her to the HD dealer and sat on my next purchase...when I get back from Iraq next year (leave in a few days) I will be getting a Cross Bones. But I ain't getting rid on the ol' M...she has been to good to me. Right now I am trying to talk the wife into learning how to ride so she can ride the M.

Got to take mine out three times today, just running errands around town. I adjusted the shield and polished her up. Got some great stuff from Sam's club . Waterless vehicle wash by Bayes just spray and wipe with micro fiber cloth. I hope to ride to work tomorrow, but there have been lots of afternoon storms. It's not like I have not ridden in the rain before, but I hate to get the bike that dirty. I heard from Jeff and I should be getting my risers soon, but it's like 105 degrees here so I might wait to do the install when it cools a bit. I got over one thousand miles on her now. I can't wait to ride again, my poor little 600 shadow just sits there, but I can't make myself ride her, when my M50 is there, hands down I ride the M.

Friday I took off the crappy kuryakin skull mirrors, been on less than a year and rotten already! Fitted the new Indy Mirrors and took off the front indicators, than Anne & I jumped on it and rode for 3.5 hours to Kelso bikefest.

All day Saturday was unfaithful, walked around the bikefest "oohing & Aahing" at all the showbikes.

Sunday jumped back on an rode home.. the return journey was much better as there was no torrential downpour.

Monday looked at my bike looking all dirty and nasty, shrugged my shoulders, jumped on and screwed the arse off it all the way to work... through another torrential downpour.

Today looked at my bike looking all dirty and nasty, shrugged my shoulders, jumped on and screwed the arse off it all the way to work... Managed to hit 115 on the coast road

Not raining just now so I might treat it to a wee wash. I pass a jet wash on the way home..(actually it's a 40 mile detour)
