...to quote others, it looked like rain this morning ... so I rode my M50 into work anyway, figured the best thing about rain is it washes the old dirt off the bike.
Since I got my M50 I have driven my Jetta twice... and haven't done anything since the weekend on the bike other than adjust my mirrors if that counts? :p

Last night I installed the Vance and Hines Straightshots. They sound a million times better than they do on the web. Today I am going to try disabling the Pair Valve to stop the popping.

Where:
The pair valve is the thing on the opposite side of the Air filter.

What it does:
Basically it injects air into the exhaust which allows the emissions to come out cleaner.

Why remove it:
With after market exhaust it can cause popping on deceleration.
Also its ugly.

Took off the sissy bar & rear seat, washed it, polished it and rode it!

It's your bike make the b@%&$ get her own right! But since my b@%$^ is right next to me maybe let her do the polishing since that's what we married them for!

luckily,it didn't look like rain here in NJ. I took the chrome heat shields off the front of my Cobra Drag pipes and wrapped them with exhaust wrap-painted them black. Took out the baffles and re-attached the Cobra Fi2000. Doesn't really seem too much louder when on the bike, but boy does it turn heads when you get on it. Had a friend with a Harley ride it so I could hear it, and he was very impressed. Remarked about how comfortable the seat was (**thanks again DJ for the lumpectomy lesson**)
John'skits 2-1/2" lowering kit and forward controls on the way....will have to post pics when those are in.

I, begrudgingly, but on my parking sticker onto my front left fork. I tried to put it toward the inside to conceal it.

i've missed a great riding weekend because I had the sudden urge to paint my air cleaner cover.

I sprayed on some silver primer applied a waterslide decal then sprayed on some clear coat.
its drying as I type....and maybe have some pics. I'm not completely satisfied but it'll work till the end of the season.

My M50 didn't get attention today (except for getting the bugs off it)
it was all about the Jetta and install new brakes and air filter
and bled the brakes and fixed the heat shield on the oil pan.
Man she's purring better than before ...
