Yeah Bob, further to the above, would you give us an overall ride report with the new settings, I'm thinking of racking mine, however, I do ride like a hooligan and I don't want the rsend getting twitchy.

Cheeeeeyaaaas.

ooooh,me like the new shoes!
You should be really happy with the Metz's. I stuck with the 170 in back, but I've already got 14,000mi on that one, and a fair amount of tread still on it. I drive pretty aggressively too, they hold things down really well. I would recommend going with the Metz suggested air pressures found here: METZELER - Recommended_tire_pressures

The bumps seem to be less harsh (less pronounced) and recovery quicker with the new setting. The bike felt stable before but now seems even better cornering etc... Sorry but weather in Michigan cool and rainy so haven't had the chance to do much other than comment on what I noticed on the way home with it.

its a little under 1"1/4 overall.not much but it looks %%%%%%.the tech told me it would feel a little different at first but if it did,i didnt notice it.

wow bad baker,i'm glad to hear 14,000 and still got decent tread running aggresively.they set my pressures at stock 29,36.looks like i should up them a bit.i'd like to ride on the fringe of solo and two up as i ride probably 75% solo,25% two up.thanks for the link and info.

Got home from work an hour early and it was so freakin' nice outside I jumped on the bike and rode out in the rolling countryside before dinner. Aaaaah the stress just magically melted away. Plus it's FRIDAY!!!!!!

Rode to work. Let a buddy at work take it for a quick spin. He now wants an M.

Believe me, it wasn't by choice. I was just in too much pain yesterday to walk around my little apartment, let alone get out and ride. Picked up the M50 four months ago and it has over 3,500 miles on her so I'm out and about a lot.

I took off my rear seat, sissy bar, and saddle bags and rode her to work, then home in the rain. Tomorrow I'm hoping to remove my PAIR valve if it's easy enough...

Rode mine around town a bit. Disconnected the battery in an attempt to reset it to the settings it now has, with the debaffled pipes. I can't be sure but it seems slightly more responsive. Could just be in my head. Anyone know how to set the clock to the right time? Mine is now an hour slow. Man, I'm gonna be late for everything now! or i guess really early!
