, yes...it took 3-4 rides to get use to...1st couple times, I couldn't find the pegs, as I took off. Readjusted the shifter and brake a few times, after a few rides, to get them where I liked them.

Between last night and today I modded the stock license plate mount and installed John's 3" lowering kit. Also I flushed what little antifreeze was left and put in new. Man she is riding like a dream.

YoungBlood: You need to black out your headlight as well. It will make your bike look even more sinister. Your bike is looking good!

Ok I just did my own mini-11,000 mile service. Changed Oil/Filter, Rear Final Drive Oil, New Spark Plugs, Checked Hoses & Cables and a couple other misc. things. Cost me a total of $47.00 and about 1-1/2hr of my time. Stealership wanted at least $250.00

I washed and waxed it today. I plan on taking a road trip to the coast tomorrow. If I remember I'll take the camera.

I couldn't resist, I had to put my decals on as soon as I got home. I have to get an NRA decal and/or an American Flag for the lower left side.

Well I went to the coast today. From Lemoore to Morro Bay, about 220 miles round trip. And of course I forgot the camera. Driving over the temp. was about 80 degress. When we got on the coastal side of the mountians, it was overcast and about 50 degress. We ate at the Bayside Cafe in Morro Bay State Park, just south of the city of Morro Bay. The food was pretty good. We cruised around the city for awhile, then headed back. We got on the other side of the mountains and the temp. was up to 95 degress. It made for a hot ride home. All in all it was a pretty good day and a great ride. The M50 ran strong whether we were on curves, straightaways, or going up a steep incline. Wish I had remembered the camera.

I really enjoy my time on the M50.

Exchanged my temp tag for the real plate, and rode in to work late. Should
leave early and beat the rain. Naw, never rains. Just leave early.

Worked the midnight shift last night, called the dealer this morning to schedule the valve adjustment, oil change, etc.. Took a 40 mile ride in heavy fog to drop it off, returned home and grabbed a couple hours of sleep. Dealer is also an RV place so quite busy. I will get the bike back by the end of next week. He-service manager - has a rep of meticulous mechanical work and he is the only one that services the bikes so I'm not upset at the time frame. Will let you all know what was done and what my final bill was by the end of next week. Cold and rainy weather headed in to our area for the next 4 or 5 days so thought I picked a good time to take it in. Bob
