cjasper...
like the positioning of the horn and plug... very clean install

paperplane... WTF? hit a deer? you ok? bike ok?

and HP isn't everything...
i'd take the m50 with it's low 44HP on a 10,000 mile run before i'd take a 100hp+ crotch rocket

doc... stay safe in iraq

Took off the stock airbox and cleaned the cylinder cooling fins in anticipation of my new Thunder Air Kit coming in. Should be here in a couple of days. I'm excited to get it on & see how it runs/looks!

Side Note: The weather is going to finally break starting tomorrow. I think the 90's & high humidiy are finally out of here. I might have to actually break out the full face helmet & jacket for the first time since April.

The M50 with aftermarket pipes sounded the best.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll probably ride from Cherokee to Asheville then loop back around, so hopefully I'll miss the closed road.

Got a pic, with a guy riding a 72 BMW R75/5...speedo turned 99,000 on ride.
Even had 3 or 4 HD rider's, that liked the way the M50 looked, and should of seen there jaws drop, when they heard what it cost

That's cool. I'm not sure how comfortable the 72 BMW would be after 300 miles. Nice to see that many miles on a bike though.

I've made people guess how much they thought I paid for my bike when they were asking me about it. When I tell them I paid $4,500.00 for it they just look at me dumb-founded (of course I've put an close to an additional $2000.00 into it). The most common response is "You've gotta be s****ing me!" Most people who've never seen a M50 guess anywhere between $8k - $12k.

Used stock m50 bars and installed onto sons Bigwheel for him. Used black grip tape at ends for grip. Looks bad@55 with them so wide on it. Stock bars were 1 inch as well. My bike needs a wash. Yesterday picked up dark tint shield for the full helmet

Today, I'm going for a short ride then clean it up, cover it and then head to the airport to fly to Italy for a week. I'm going to see if I can purchase a Vemar Jiano helmet while I'm over there. See you in a week or so...
