BTW, I did something else today to the Hellcat that I never thought I'd do. I put a windshield on it. It's the clear Show Chrome 22" shield. It's essentially the same thing as the Mempis Shades Fats 21" but is about $75 cheaper. Let me get my camera...
Link for that windshield? I'm going to need one come winter, and saving $75 sounds good to me.

could almost pass for paintball scenerio lol.. anyhoo, received my package from kuryakyn. large iso pegs (front and back), clutch cover, large brake cover, and clear signal covers. took a while to get through the stock brake metal. zipped over to cdntire and picked up the front and back orange signal bulbs. if you ever need to change them, the front ones have 2 prongs, the back ones have one. save ya some time lol.

back. here's a few pics of the install afterwards. used a cutting wheel on a dremel to cut the bottom part of the back housing. but left the sides where the bolts hold onto the backlight on the sides. still could use some nice rounded edges with sand paper, but overall i think it turned out nicely. looks like a crotch rocket from behind if saddlebags didn't ruin the look. (note: going by the colors of wire to splice into the oem colors. they were opposite but i just switch the oem clips instead of resplicing.)

then ziptied the license plate onto sissy bar until the side mounted curved plate thingy shows up at my door next week. wondering when the bike gets lowered the 3 inches if the saddlebag will block the view of license plate on left.

good news is i have two clear signal covers for sale. just installed last night when they came lol. offer up.

Finally got over the depression of losing my covers and went out and bought the stuff to make a "red neck" motorcycle lift so that I can install my 2 inch lowering kit... considering different options of making the bike symmetrical, maybe more rat-rod like and taking off all the covers I don't need. Start blacking out chrome.. work with what I'm given kinda thing...

Today I cut off the rear license plate bracket, and relocated it to the side, and added a LED light strip above the brake light.
Kinda cool its a M!
Started after the sun went down, and worked into the evening.

Default Side Mount

Hmm, woke up at 5 am thanks to the dogs after partying until 3am. Decided to make a productive day of it, put on my side mount curved license plate, and did a little surgery to the back end, until my integrated light gets here.... Strange what a little motivation will do for you. Time to go for a ride

Can you link to where you got the windshield? I don't mind saving 75$!

I changed the engine oil myself for the first time and didnt change the filter. The manual says the filter only has to be changed every 11k miles/36 months. This goes against everything I thought I knew about oil changes but its a good way to save $36 in filters.
