The second thing I noticed was at the light, the long light especially, it was really nice to have that back support there. Driving home after work, long day, I notice how far forward I was sitting almost to the tank, only bothered me a little bit. I'll see how tomorrow goes, over all the best $85 plus $10 shipping I ever spent on a bike accessory. Except of course the $49.50 I spent on the riser I bought from Jeff. The pics are in the camera, to busy and to tired to show now, but tomorrow is another day.
Installed mine last night. My lower back will be alot happier now!

Got to work on a modded pillion seat... Added a some aluminum supports and expanded the seat pan, just need to foam and cover, yay hard parts over. Also bought feelers for adjusting my valves on Sunday, checking the sparks while I'm at it.

That one is pretty difficult if you have big hands. Difficulty wise, I rank it right up there with getting the front tube of when depairing. But the previous posts are right on the money, especially about having patience.

you get used to the balls at the tank feeling.your still totally on the seat but there is no "lumpectomy" to worry about.this backrest is sooo worth it.my lower back problems disappeared when i got this.i have the stock seat and can ride for as long as the rest of my body can take, not my back.

Put my john's kit forwards back on (this is the third time now). Removed Kuryakyn iso grips and reinstalled stock grips and end weights. Did air filter maintenance (blew it out with an air hose). Started figuring out how to get my linby bar on with the forwards.

I like working on the bike about as much as riding it.

I spent half a day cleaning mine-after 1500 miles in three days, caught in heavy rain for about 3 hrs, the bike was the dirtiest I have ever seen. But now she is back the nice and shiny

Put it in touring mode, threw the windshield back on, hope its straight, girlfriend wasn't around to help, fixed my tool bag and worked on a luggage rack, won't be done in time for a trip North to see my family, oh well. Love my bike, can take a random road trip without having to save up for it. Added stripes to the front wheel, on the rim, silver to match the sides of the bike.

Got back from a 500 mile round trip, first long one on my bike. The seat of doom wasn't too comfy, but I managed. Best part of it all is getting back to my place and having the JK forwards, and switchblade pegs waiting for me, so I installed em, and went back out for an another hour.

Tomorrow is bath time for the old boy.

I de-lumped the seat today. Like Dragonetti I took my first long trip (long for me) which was 175 miles. My butt was killing me. Did not get to ride it today, did not get the seat finished until late.

Going to begin getting stuff to make light bar.

Stripped her down, cleaned every part, tightened every bolt and made sure she was road ready.

oh and I changed my TRI POT from 1 5 4 to 1 3 4 to see if I get better gas mileage and decent performance.

Default Toured the OC

Today I took out my M, and rode with my roomie on his Harley Softtail Crossbones all over the OC. We spent the afternoon at Corona Del Mar Beach with some friends, then rode up to Long Beach for dinner, and back down the 405 home. All in all, her first "real" full day of traveling in my ownership, and I couldnt be happier with how she ran! Granted, I didnt get a ton of attention riding next to a $22,000 harley, but I didnt mind all that much! This week - Ordering my V+H Cruizers and PC3. Perhaps even the integrated light kit and side mount liscense, if money allows! All in all, Im one HAPPY new M50 owner!
