| Could you get closer shots on how you mounted those lights? I was thinking of doing the same mount, but unsure yet on how to them properly. Curious on what you did. Thanks!

Nothing yet today. Yesterday, however, took it to Norfolk to get a part ordered. The little chrome ring around the speedo and clock is peeling. Bike is only a few months old. Took it across the HRBT and felt like a kite in the wind.

| Are those silver wheel decals? If so where did you get them from? How hard were they to install? Your bike looks good btw.

Remove attached mounts Put on supplied mulit-fit mounts - several different pieces all supplied with kit. Someone else on the forum (Womper I think) has similar lights. His are mounted upside down from the way I have mounted these. He originally mounted them upright but said they kept turning down. So he just remounted them hanging down. After I heard this I decided to install the 2 small black plastic, very thin washers that didn't seem to be called for in the directions between spacer and the mount and I used blue locktite when bolting them into the fender. No problems so far. In fact I rode around a few days before wiring up just to see if they would move... Pictures are from pre-wiring. I'll take some better ones and post. Very simple to bolt on. I did have a shop wire them up directly into ignition. So I don't even have the on/off switch installed. Bike is on = lights are on.

| Thanks! White reflective rim striping on the wheels. I got them for free but Ebay sells them. Installation is not bad but have a lot of patience in doing them.

| Again - wiring was done at dealership, and I'm quite happy with it. They added shrink tube, or whatever it's called, which looks much better than the black electrical tape I would have used.

Spacer into fender. "Extra" washer between spacer and vertical part of the mount Where the vertical mount attaches to the light, you can see the small spacer at the top and 2 shims at the bottom. I wound up replacing the fasteners/bolts that attach the mount to the light because the supplied ones were hex head and rounded off. Also I stripped one of the supplied lock nuts, so I went ahead and replaced both of those as well. That made both lights attached with the same hardware.

Simple - just follow the hose/cables already there. Dealer ran all through the neck. It is switched into the ignition. I haven't removed the neck to see the deal from there - nor have I removed the seat to check out the relay installation yet. All is working great. Hope the pix help. Really simple plug and play - I just didn't feel comfortable talking the wiring part alone since I hadn't done it before. Actually mounting the light to the fender was super easy.

Nicely done vtbme! Great pics, too. For something to do I replaced the muffler packing in my 6" fibrosleeves (diamond jim-tm) for debaffled stock pipes. Refer to "fibrosleeves" in the Exhaust section of the "sticky" thread M50 links and tutorials. If you have/are thinking of doing fibrosleeves and haven't thought of it yet, I suggest using a 10-14" length x 12" wide section of very thin gage sheetmetal as a compression sleeve to ease insertion of the fibrosleeve. I wrapped a section into a small tube and inserted it into the debaffled muffler prior to inserting the fibrosleeve. I inserted it until about an inch or two of the "mickey" plate. Expand it until it matches the inside diameter of the muffler and twist the end sticking out a little bit to create a very slight cone. I then wrap the packing around a compressed sleeve cage and slide it into the end of the "compression sleeve". The fibrosleeve should slide smoothly down the compression sleeve while gently twisting the fibrosleeve (twist in a direction so that the packing doesn't catch/grab on the inner overlap of the compression sleeve). You can always grab the free-end of the compression sleeve and give it a twist to help compress the packing. Once the fibrosleeve is well into the muffler, use a 2-3/4" PVC pipe to keep the fibrosleeve seated at the bottom, I ease out the compression sleeve. Alternating between a pull out on the compression sleeve and a seating tap with the PVC pipe, the compression sleeve will be removed while leaving the fibrosleeve fully seated in the debaffled muffler. I found this much easier to do than inserting the fibrosleeve without any sort of guide/"shoe horn". I failed to get pictures tonight, but I'll try to remember to do so the next time I replace the packing.

Reinstalled OEM shield a few days ago. Lined the mounts with black electrical tape to give a bit more grip and protect the forks. Tried bicycle inner tube first as someone on here suggested, but it was too thick. Almost 300 miles yesterday: Clt to Boone to Little Switzerland (via Blue Ridge Parkway where I barely missed a deer) to Shelby to home. Great day!

Installed the godsend powercommander autotune.. smoothed the 400cc injectors right in.... It wasnt a whole lot of fun watching the tach when it started to goof on me and remember my throttle position, stop riding, find that spot on the map and adjust a square +/-5... and with the turbo it wasnt fun knowing that the bike was going lean down the highway a few times... now im not worried... i just turn the auto tune on and it maps every gear out for me and adjusts it (and they are different)... Although its only gone up and down as much as 14 in some select spots.. which isnt too far out for having those bigger injectors now.. anyway... anyone who has the 05-08 m50 or c50.. you can put the PCV and Autotune on your bike and it will work (find my tutorial for doing so).. And I would recommend it even if your bike is stock.. Our bikes are comming to us pretty fat from factory, so much that they added the pair valve to fool the emissions sniffer.. They are using a few more sensors than a speed density tune but not too much.. I believe there isnt a mass air sensor and of course the US models dont have the O2 sensor (pre 09) Anyway if your after performance or fuel mileage or both (you can flip a switch to toggle between a fuel mileage map and performance map) I think the PCV and Auto Tune is the only way to go for a piggy back processor.. its almost a stand alone if it could control the timing on our bikes..

Let's see, last night I got the blue accent lighting back up and running. The idiot who installed them (I am the second owner) used a wire that was too small to run a dozen or so low voltage LED's back to the battery. By the time they were all tied together the voltage was too much for the wiring and it melted. I went ahead and installed a switch while I had it all torn apart so I'm not plugging and unplugging it all the time. Hopefully I'll be getting my trim/accent pieces back from paint today so I can reinstall and ride. Two days without my bike is killing me!

Rode my daughter out to Bollingbroke, GA to look at some horses and farms. Absolutely GORGEOUS day and a perfect ride with my little girl.
