Alone for a whole day..no baby, no wife...just time. Decided to pinstripe the front fender to go better with the bikes striping, installed the carbon fiber tank trim kit and redid the bar ends again...all in all if it's too crapy to ride it's a great time to putz. The carbon pcs from suzuki don't photograph well, but the side pcs and tank trim kit I ordered (now obsolete...don't know why) are just damn nice quality...they look 3D in real life, they are some of the best carbon 'like' looking pcs I've seen..if you can find the kit and you like it, don't hesitate to buy them.

And thanks too 07M50Limited I got a PERFECT set of Limited edition seats for my 05..I know everyone loves the aftermarket, but I love the newer edition OEM on my bike..goes with my current obsession for a carbon fiber theme.

Installing power commander V "made only for the 09 and up" on my 07.. Tutorial for making it happen comming tomorrow or so.. This can work both ways retro fitting or installing the cobra, power commander 3, or any fuel processor made for the 05-08 C50/M50 or whatever 50 you have to the 09 up models.. Very simple if you don't fear the solder gun and shrink wrap

80 miles yesterday and got PIAAs wired up. Whimped out and took it to the dealer. Good move I think. They buttoned it up real nice. Wired into the ignition so lights are on whenever engine is running (not when key is "on" position). Didn't have to install the on/off switch that came with it, so that helped with the cabling job.

Reinstalled sissy bar mount and luggage rack (minus actual sissy bar). Several trips to the hardware store...and it was too dark for pix once I finished. Maybe tomorrow after work.

Well, I only got my 2007 M50 yesterday and rode her 150km's home in the rain.

Today was a clean and polish, then lot's more riding.

My first bike in 20 years and I'm loving it.

Finally able to hit the road with my husband and some friends. Put in a 300 mile day in the mountains of Virginia. Had lunch in Monterey which seemed to be a stop for a lot of other bikes. Great great day!

Thx - just don't care for the sissy bar. Would look better if the top of the mount was radiused where it meets the rack...lines would flow better, but I'm happy with it.

Laptop fits nicely with a cargo net as does a 2" three-ring binder...which I discovered tonight after work. Very handy so far.

120 miles up to Cornelius with some friends who ride a Harley. A few sprinkles, but we just headed in the direction of the least gray clouds and we were all good.

Thunder and spitting rain started after I got home and tried to re-install OEM shield...so that will have to wait for clearer weather.
