Blacked out the air box & pair valve cover. Rode for 45 minutes.

Ground down the brake lever, and ordered a 2 inch lowering kit.

Much better then stock. I don't want it too loud just loud enough to make me happy and i can still listen to the radio or MP3 on my phone. when i drive the bike to work on the evening shift I don't get home till 1:00am and curently the neighbors still like me and want to keep it that way. thinking about bigger holes though, I'll try this forst for a awhile. Drove to the RV center on the bike today and pick-up parts to take up this weekend. like the sound much better.

Trigger, im not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but actually a couple of my friends have used round disposable bbq grates, they sell them in singles or by the 5 pack at our local dollar general store. Just a suggestion, im not sure how large you need them but one of these covered most of the grills that they have used them on....

nvm should have refreshed my page from the last time I was on it...see your done looks great btw

Yeah I used gutter mesh, had the same tabs as the "tuner grill" I ordered years ago, for 10 bucks a sheet haha.

Downloaded a new map to my PC3, and disabled the vacuum line to the hypercharger. I was running map #002, which fuelmoto sent me. It seemed to lean at higher RPM's. Plus I dont like the idea that the map says it's for "stock or aftermarket intake". I thought the reason I needed a PC was because I changed the intake. I tried map 008 when I installed my new pipes, but it ran too rich at lower RPM's. I hope by disabling the vacuum port, it will act more like the tornado intake, which is what map 008 is based on. When I have the funds to dyno, I'll get my flappers working like they should and have the PC mapped like it needs to be.

Hello all. I debaffled my 08 M50. Sounds better than stock, but can always be better. Was a Bandit 1250 owner, but the ride was more oriented for a younger person. Love my M50.

Welcome to the crew Hambone!

I just got thru installing my integrated tail light. Works great. Have not decided if I am going to shed the stock turn signals or keep them and have double blinkers. Also attached my Green Light activator. Tomorrow I plan to install my 2.5" lowering kit from John. If I have time, will put my new headlight bulb and wire my GPS and Radar Detector. Time to get some shut eye!

Good morning, group!

Put on my new Saddlemen Explorer seat last night (push Easy Button now), so I HAD to ride in to work for a "seat-of-the-pants" assessment. I hope the passenger seat is as comfy as the front (that was the whole point). S'posed to go on a dinner ride tonite, if it doesn't rain....

Still need to fab up the supports for my new Highwayman bags, this week, hopefully.

Installed new seat but didn't get to ride today. Tomorrow I'll test it out to and from work likely with an extended ride on the way home.

That's weird, I just went from "Where Am I" to "Seat Tester". Stranger things have happened I guess.

tdurham, well I hope this doesn't end our friendship but it's the GA dawgs. I do think MS will do well this year.

Talking Driver's backrest

I received my grasshopper driver's backrest yesterday. I came home from work and it only took me about 10 minutes to put on. I took it for a quick spin, I like it, so far. Went to work this morning only a 16 mile ride, the first thing I notice is on acceleration instead of sliding back into nothing the back rest is there. I loved that. The second thing I noticed was at the light, the long light especially, it was really nice to have that back support there. Driving home after work, long day, I notice how far forward I was sitting almost to the tank, only bothered me a little bit. I'll see how tomorrow goes, over all the best $85 plus $10 shipping I ever spent on a bike accessory. Except of course the $49.50 I spent on the riser I bought from Jeff. The pics are in the camera, to busy and to tired to show now, but tomorrow is another day.

My wife and kids are on vacation so I am having lots of "guilt free" M upgrade time

I installed my 2.5" lowering kit that I got from John. took me a little longer than i anticipated but it went smooth and I absolutely love it!! It was too late to ride so I just sat on it in the garage like a kid at the bike shop.

I can't wait to ride to work in the morning. Going to delump my seat tomorrow and thinking I am going to take off the stuff below the tail light now that I have my integrated light installed I like the pics I saw of the lowered units with the tag mounted right under the tail light. I believe I will be legal in MS with that.

will post before and after pics in the next couple of days. Dan, I guess I won't hold that against you!

Stopped for a guy sitting on his bike on the berm on I-90 this AM- he was just waiting for his wife to catch up to him.

Had a great Ride & Dine last nite with about 18 other riders. The little woman loves our new Saddlemen Explorer seat, & we enjoyed shrimp dinner on the outdoor terrace in Barcelona, NY while watching the sunset over Lake Erie. Life is good...

Man, I love being back into bikes again!!
