Hrm ... know the price?

Can't find anyone to give a retail price on it, most (Read as all I found) places I looked didn't even have the part number listed yet.

Ouch, that's a chunk of change compared to other models. When you get them, give a review.

Gonna order mine right now and in two weeks I will be getting a custom map done on the dyno for my Cobra Pipes and K&N Air Filter. I will post a review when it's all done.

Never been a big K&N fan, I just dont buy into the hype.
My porsche came with one, now there is a stock paper filter in it.

K&N filter IS A LIFETIME filter.
It's a reusable filter, just wash, oil and put it back in.

Compare to the $35 the stock filter for M50 is, not too bad!!

I'm going to wait for a review by those who bought it and see how they like it

Yea, I'm waiting to hear back from others, I run them in all my cars and trucks, they last forever, and that is what your paying for, no replacement cost.

Never seen numbers for a bike, but im assuming they carry the same reputation for there bike filters as they do there trucks. Allows more air in, yet filters better and lasts a lifetime, just clean/oil and put back in. Have/Had a K&N filter in every vehicle I own

Just bought on online. Lifetime is along time. My M50 has 10,000 miles on the OEM filter, so its time for a new filter.

Think this K&N Filter will best be used with a FI Chip?

K&N used my bike for testing the new filter. They haven't told me what, if any, increase there was in power with their air filter, but I can say the bike felt better. It has more power right from the bottom. That is my seat-of-the-pants opinion. My M50 is completely stock.

For those of you that get the K&N, I would suggest opening up the airbox. The stock configuration does not allow enough air in. You can drill some holes or cutout a piece like many on this forum have already done. I can't wait to hear some reports.

For those newbies that do this, please take note you want to open up on the Chrome cover, not the black portion - the black is behind the filter and will let in unfiltered air. I know it sounds obvious, but someone may not recognize this.

I like Breeze's K&N universal air filter mod. Much more satisfying, and it looks about the same...well, except without the shiny chrome plate on the K&N filter.
