Default Hi all. New member here.

I brought my M50 home from the dealership on June 5th and so far I have over 1,400 miles on her. I have the 2008 Silver and Black and do I have to say that I'm loving every mile? It turns a lot of heads. I have pictures posted on my Photobucket site but I have to put up some current ones with my new saddle bags and rear rack.

Can anyone post a picture of the spanner wrench? I'm not sure if I have it or not. If I don't I want to go back to the dealer again amd complain for the umpteenth time. Yamaha/Suziki West is just barely competant. At leas thier service department knows what they're doing. Not only was I lied to by the salesman numerous times but the parts department doesn't know what they're doing.

I'm looking forward to doing a lot of reading on this machine. I met a guy earlier tonight in Downtown Fort Worth by the name of Dave who told me about this forum. Looking forward to socializing.

From N Ft Worth.

BTW I agree the people at Y/S West are not the sharpest around. (I bought my bike at Y/S East). as far as the wrench-do you mean the one used to adjust rear shock?

Welcome Native, I have the same m50 and my tool kit didn't come with hardly anything. couple of allen wrench's, some metric wrenches 2 but four sizes and a pair of pliers and a cheap looking screw driver....I looked online today and the spammers you can get for about 8-9 dollars...It sucks about the toolkit and my sales place cycleplex bent the truth we me as well! but I love my M

Rico, do you have some links to the spanner wrenches?
If I can't find a cheap one, I'll consider fabricating one.

Hey Dave. Did you get the email I replied to earlier today? In a nutshell, there's a good change I'm headed down to Richland to see my buddy this weekend. If not I'll see you on Sunday (if I can get my butt out of bed on time). Otherwise, count me in for next weekend. It was great meeting you. I read some stuff last night and today I ran to Wally World and picked up a new light bulb, the Sylvania something Star... cost just under $20. Installed without a hitch but didn't really see a difference yet but I only saw it in the day light.

I'm near NW Loop 820 and 199 so you're basically my neighbor. Funny, I'm meeting a whole mess of people with C50s and M50s now that I have one. Yeah, that's the one I mean and thanks for the pictures. I don;t have it in there. I guess I have to drop $10 for one. I'll look below to see if I see the links to get one online.

Thanks Rico. I'd appreciate it. I've complained to the dealer enough about all sorts of things and it seems to me complaining about a $9 item is just petty at this point.
