| Hey guys, I have two questions, both about storage. The first: My wife and I were camping last weekend, and we thought it would have been great to have ridden the bike. However, we go out there with a tent, a cooler, a couple of backpacks, and some other miscellaneous stuff. With the two of us on the bike, no matter of saddlebags would hold all of that. On the way back, however, I saw a bike with a cargo trailer. That would hold all our stuff just fine, and would allow us to not have stuff packed all over us on the actual bike. So my question: would the M50 have enough power to carry the wife and me plus tow an additional, say, 300 pounds of trailer + cargo? Does anyone have any experience with a cargo trailer - performance consequences, safety concerns, etc.? And finally, what is everyone's favorite brand of trailer? Question two: subtract all the tents, cargo, and the wife and add... an electric bass guitar. Any ideas of how I could get that from my house to where the band plays? I have a backpack-style bag for it, but riding with that would catch the wind and pull me right off! So yea, ideas welcome Thanks, ~ alexg |

| I havestarted doing some competetive shooting this season and the range where I shoot is about 50 miles one way. With the price of gas I thought it would be great if I could get the rifle case on the bike. Below is a picture of my solution. I removed the passanger side foot peg and made a bracket for the case to go into. The upper part of the case is attached to the luggage rack. It rides great even on the freeway. Roger L |

| Clunked into first gear ![]() | Alex, Do a search on the forums for M50 Hitch. There was someone who fabricated a hitch for his M50 and he trailer a small trailer, the bike should have enough power for what you are looking for as long as you are not trying to race anyone from one traffic light to another

| Alex: Below ar esome additional photos of the gun case mount. I removed the passenger foot peg on the left side and used a 6mm bolt to attach the case to the bike. The rear support is attached to the luggage rack. The rear bag sits on top of the board. Let me know if you need more information. Good Luck Roger L |

| Thats genius. I've just tossed my handgun in the saddlebag with ammo in the other bag, and left the long guns at home or stuck them in my buddy's truck before he heads up there... oh the possibilities... I imagine you get some odd looks though... OH NO A BIKER WITH A GUN!

| I do some mountain biking and I saw a guy with a honda shadow who had made a bracket with some angle iron to hold his mountain bike. Pretty crazy but I was somehow jealous...

btw Rogerl... that's ingenius as for towing? shouldn't have a problem... someone around here has a C50, him and his wife and a trailer and they said it had enough juice as long as you aren't racing anyone... alternatively you could fit everything in saddlebags and a tombstone sissybar bag... if you can't fit everything (including tent) in that bag, you do not need it. T-bag Super T 4 heck, i know some people who say if you can't fit it in a tank bag, you don't need it
