finally saw another M50 in Norman. It was a black M50, looks great. I was on a mission to go somewhere else but I should have found out who you were. Also, do yall feel that other riders wave to you all when you are riding down the road?

I'm not in Norman, but I'm in Edmond. If you ever see a Blurple 07 on the road with Cobras, that's me! Also, people around here are extremely amazing about the motorcyclists unwritten rule of ettiquite....always give a friendly wave hello to your fellow bikers!

People around Fort Riley, KS always wave. I even had some dude on a scooter (yes a real scooter, not like the slang for a bike "scooter") wave at me once. That was funny.

its been a mixed reception around in Norman. I always wave but a few Harley riders have not waved back, and more than a few sport bikes have not.

Ehh, most all the other riders around here wave. The ones that don't are usually the Crotchies.

No big loss...

Riders in my town are pretty friendly, get waves from just about everyone. Riders seem to stick together here, cagers are pretty bad. Its not uncommon to look in my rear view to see that I've picked up a bike or two riding behind me staggered, safety in numbers I suppose.

Riders out here don't seem to wave as consistently as in Florida, where I moved from. But I did have a motorcycle cop wave one morning! Most are on BMWs and from the front it wasn't noticeable at first that he was anything other than a rider. Cracked me up that he waved though

around here in S.A Texas about 80% of the bikers give some sort of wave or head nod! We have to look out for each other! not to bike friendly in the city!

Yeah, I've had a bike cop wave at me before, I thought that was really cool.

I'm down in TX, but sometimes I go through Norman. Went to school at OCU, so sometimes I still ride up to OKC to visit old friends.

I don't want the crotch rockets around here waving at me. Both hands on those bars at 120mph please. I'll always give a good wave back tho. It's amazing to see the number of bikes out on Route 66 between Stroud and Arcadia on a weekend. Sometimes the ol hand'll be off the bar more than on waving at them all! Pop's in Arcadia always has a ton of bikers hanging out. You'll have to forgive the Harley riders as they can't wave as much as the rest of us. All that rattling around you see. Have to keep both hands on the bars to keep the bikes from shaking apart.

I was thinking about heading up to pops one weekend, just didn't think about getting up there on my bike. But now, I might give it a try.

Just about every biker waves here, except for the "hardcore" harley people. To each their own I suppose. Nothing worse than giving the wave without getting the wave back though.

I think you know where I'm going with this.

i wave to everyone...

hell, i nod to most truckers, roadworkers and cops too...

i guess all the scoots/bikes, we share a common interest of two wheeling...
truckers are part of the road... and most always look right at you when you pass them...
road workers to tell them i'll go slowly (the ones signalling traffic)
and cops... well.. to tell them i'll be a good boy also they're like part of the road...

i almost always get a nod or wave back... if not a full blown wave from a biker, there's some acknowledgement...

but i would never ever wve to this guy
