You need a High Intensity Discharge (HID) light kit. I don't know much about them but someone will surely post some pointers for you soon.

Yes, you can get the silverstar bulbs or other variety....It's just an H4 bulb so you do have choices.

No its easy. I have the PIAA PIAA Powersports H4 Xtreme White Plus Anti-Vibration Bulb (Single) for Suzuki Boulevard M50 suppost to be the closest thing to HID, <<<its not! But its gonna be the closest thing to it. It is brighter than the Silverstar, i've had both. It has a blueish tint to it too.

I too have this bulb, but have not been able to try it out yet- too much rain here. I had the stock bulb before, and even have before and after pictures- to post after the holiday. It was easy to change.

Default Easy to do

I replaced mine with a Silverstar Ultra bulb. Big difference! As mentioned it is just a standard H4 bulb. There were instructions posted on here how to do it:

http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...ement-how.html

It's very easy, takes just a few minutes and well worth it.

Here's a pointer: That's not good advice!

HID kits are expensive and a pain in the butt.
That would NOT be a good choice.

Hey booya, where did you pick up the H4 bulb and are you still liking it?

I'm in Maple/Woodbridge

I orderd it from that link. But I think you might be able to find it at Gp Sports in Ajax or Royal Distributors in Barrie.

Thanks booya ... I found someone that has it other than GP Bikes

Milestone Motorsports - Whitby, Ontario Canada

called them up - they even have the Kuryakyn mirrors I want ... another 35 mins and I'll be heading over there ...
My replacement hose clamps for my NC windshield (purchased at Lowes HW) are modified and ready, had the machine shop here trim them down so they fit the hardware.

Yes saw them at GP Bikes but they were so used I refused to buy them, plus GP didn't have the adapters and didn't have an answer when I asked them how long to order the adapters.

Milestones will have the mirrors next week for me and adapters are a little longer but hopefully sooner.

I like the size of the mirrors, but as soon as they're on the bike I will snap some pics. Same with the NC windshield.

go with what boooya says...
currently on my bike i have a silverstar bulb, it's pretty good for the price... i bought a car one as the price of 1 'motorcycle' bulb was twice the price...

in addition i have some cheapo halogen lights... meh. they suck

i also have a set of PIAA 1100x driving lights.
they are bright... really bright
slight blueish natural tint, and just 1 light is brighter than my main headlight

i'm going to get the PIAA main bulb when i blow the silverstar... whenever that'll be...

i'd like to suggest that when you do put your bulb in, re-aim your headlamp as most people on here find it aimed really low from the factory.

And illegal in most states if they didn't come stock on the vehicle. Ran into that issue when I was trying to turn my Cobalt into a show car. Some tuner magazine was willing to sponsor dollar for dollar but didn't like my plans of adding HID due to illegality... I decided not to go for it, was going to be too expensive.
