Default Will debaffle and demickey of the m50 lead to burnt out valves?
I talked to a mechanic and they said that if you remove backpressure in an exhaust system that you will end up overheating the valves and eventually blow the valves and melt the piston rings.

I think he said it has something to do with having no backpressure doesn't keep the gas or whatever around the valves to cool them.. I really didn't completely understand his reasoning but that's what he said anyhow.

I still have the 3rd plate left in my exhaust, now I'm afraid to take it out because once that 3rd plate is gone I would have straight pipes with no backpressure.

any thoughts?
