You might want to re-read the state of florida statue:

Statutes & Constitution :View Statutes : flsenate.gov

Section 1 and 2 talks about light colors.

The flashing light section you are referring to is also in the statue under criminal activity here:

Statutes & Constitution :View Statutes : flsenate.gov

So to sum it up:
Blue is prohibited, and if you are caught with a rotating/flashing, it's a criminal act, not only a moving violation (impersonating a police car)

And don't get me started on the muffler statues...

(Here in case you wondered: Statutes & Constitution :View Statutes : flsenate.gov )

It appears my understanding of the law is still correct except when installing your lights you have to ensure they are not visible from the front of the vehicle if you want to use blue or red.

Yeah, and I knew I was illegal when I did the exhaust. The majority of us on this site are violators in the state of Florida.

Thanks for posting those, until now my knowledge of them has been hearsay.

Yes, i know what you mean...

The only reason i found these statues is because i had to prove to the condo commandos here that a standard, stock exhaust is as legal as any car's exhaust and they can not discriminate against me having a bike just because of the noise issue.

Needless to say, i got them to back off and now everyone in my building can have a bike (with stock pipes or baffles installed while on the property).

5 bikes poped up on the property since (only been a month or so..hehehe)

As for the lights, being that they are installed on a bike, it's almost always visible from the front..lol
a bit tricky..

Yeah, that's pretty much what i have...

The compressor was installed on the right side tin (where there is an empty rounded bracket, right under the seat, i think it's the computer)

The trumpets... i only installed one for now.

I found it on ebay for a lot lett tho..

I paid like $5 + shipping, works great and even comes with the relay and screws.

LOL, good for you, that will teach em. Dont like having one bike on the property, well how bout 6!

You right about the lights, if the cops want to give you a ticket they will find something for sure. I have a buddy that’s a cop and he says the trick s to only break one law at a time. So if you have something static like an illegal plate or lights or exhaust, you have to make up for it by not doing anything else wrong. Sounds like good logic to me.
