I say get a set while you can, they are really nice. Install is real easy if you take your time. Unfortunately I forgot to put the washers back under the spacers, so I added 10 minutes to pop them back off and fix my mistake.

Another installation tip:
Removing one riser at a time, putting it in a vise(just enough to hold it, padded with fleece), and remove the old stud, install the new stud. For 11 bucks at NAPA, I bought socket shaped stud remover, and used my breaker bar.
How I did it: I removed the nuts holding the handle bars to the tree, lifted the bars off the tree, then turned the bar so that one stud went back in the hole, letting the bar rest on one riser, and the other stud infront of the tree(be careful of the headlight, and still cover the tree). Removed the riser(only three screws, two on top, and one underneath for the speedometer bracket. Reinstall the riser to the handle bar, lift the bar, and install the spacer. Rest the bar on the new riser/spacer combo throught he hole in the tree, and repeat the steps for the other riser. Since I only did one at a time, I didn't need to remove the speedometer or controls.

They will give you pullback on the bars, if needed for reach, or give extra clearance for drag bars.

What an easy install! Only due to the clear instructions from jeff. Items came across the border fast and were a perfect fit. With my drag bar and stick risers, my brake/ throttle lines would hit the tank. Now there's a nice 1" clearance and I can sit back a little comfortably. 10/ 10 for product quality and clear instructions. Can't thank you enough!

Those look great 07M50L. Even after "rolling" the bars back towards me, I find the riding position a little more "aggressive" than I'd like. I've sent an e-mail hoping that you may still have a set laying around.

Thanks for making these available to others.

I believe I've already touched base with you to determine if you have any risers left and if I'm not mistaken you said you did not and that you weren't planning on making any more.

Based on the renewed interest just hoping you might change your mind and make up a few more for some of us Newbeez who just arrived in the forum.

If not....understandable and you won't hear a peep out of me again on the subject.....if so...bless you bless you. lol*

Seriously...you've got a gift and a talent. Seems like a waste not to use it. I bet there are alot of M50 owners out there in EBay-Land who would want a set.

Maybe just make them to order rather than invest in a whole slew upfront ?

Anyways thanks for letting me rant.

Cheers

Sorry to hear you lost your job.

Best of luck. Keep your head up and your shoulders back.

Default Risers available again

Risers available again.

Jeff and I are working to make the Risers he made available again.

I need to see a count of raised hands for who would be interested in purchasing sets of risers.

If I get enough interested I will set up to do a larger batch run.

Thanks,

Ken Cooley
