| Found second gear by accident ![]() Joined: Apr 2008

| There is a plug in the front of the tranny housing (left side of bike). See pic below. I suspect it's a filler plug/cap for putting tranny fluid in the tranny. But I've also heard that on the VZ800, the engine and the tranny share the same oil. Does anyone know what this plug is for? Do the tranny and engine really share the same oil for lubrication? Would there be any reason to pour lubricant into this hole? |
