Hey Jay, How do you like your Profiler? I' still trying to decide whether or not I need one...

I like it so far. Due to the weather I have not made a run longer than 100 miles. No problems. When you first sit on Profiler, you'll see that it does not have that plush feel that the stock has. But after some time on it I was not shifting around like I would on the OEM. In fact the only reason I can say that is I did not notice the seat at all. I never had the real bad problems like some others with the OEM seat. Although my butt did get sore after awhile on the OEM.

The Profiler will move you closer to the tank about 1". That inch was a little too much for me, so I ordered some John Forward Controls. I was going to do that anyway.

The Profiler looks so much better than the OEM, I was amazed that it would make so much difference. I got it at a good price $239.00 w/ free shipping & no sales tax from GM Cycles on Ebay.

Talk to GeorgiaRoller, he has one. He told me once I break it in I'd love it.

Yep that is conclusive, the M800 is far nicer than the M50......

How is the passenger section of the profiler.....is it as wide as the stock seat. Does the profiler act as a small back rest. Looks like you sit slightly higher than the stock seat. Lastly does it bolt right up to the rear seat bolt?

Well, now that the sunny weather has gone and wet/slush has returned in time for me to be ride-ready...I started making minor mods.

I installed a PIAA H4 bulb, sticker plate for military tags and a new Saddlemen Profiler. I am interested to ride on the new seat as it's lower but 'feels' so different. I kind of liked the way the stock seat positioned me better...we'll see.

Cheers from Nevada ---
