BTW, I love the paint. It is so hard to pull the Trigger(pun intended) and paint an already nice paint job. I bet you have no fear on any mod for the bike and can't wait to see whats next.
The can said gloss, but it came out satin, think I like it better

I've been grinding, cutting, etc for a while, figuring I could always get a new part, the paint, oh that was hard, a shot of Jamesons and a Cigerette helped with the first strokes of sandpaper. The Caliper paint I got is self leveling brush on, made by G2, looks easy enough. If it stopped raining, I'd work on it, grr, living in the central states, we get all the rain left over after the huricanes, glad I don't have to deal with the wind, storm surge etc, but I had an empty McDonalds medium pop on my balcony, it was full in a little over 3 hours nd this towns lack of storm drains riding without a front fender fun... running through your own rooster tail is odd..

I love taking the bike on camping trips. It makes you really only bring what you need.

Here's my baby. So far I have Dropped it 3", blacked out the pipes and air filter cover, removed back seat, custom modded the license plate mount, and angled the handlebars a bit up. I am really happy with everything so far. But there is plenty more to come. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks. I was originally above the headlight but since I added the windshield I needed another place for it. I wanted a bag inside the windshield but this one was too big for that purpose I thought so I bought the small River Road bag and had the guys at the shop pop it on when they install the Fats. I like the way it looks sitting on the fender but am worried it will scratch the heck out of it over time.

First time I got on the highway with the windshield on the bike I didn't really like it because there was a lot of vibration but I'm coming around. At least I don't have to wear my ear plugs and I don't do the head bob anymore.

Hmmm, is that bag securely attached to the forks? I'm trying to understand what happens when the forks compress. Is it loosely attached or what am I missing?

It's funny you mentioned that because I looked at it a few hours ago and it's no longer touching the fender. There's about an inch space between the bag and the fender now. But yeah, it's on there securely. I didn't think of it at the time so now I'm kind of glad I didn't make it as tight as I wanted to. I can't find another place to put it anyway. All the straps I have are all too short to run it through the triple tree just under the headlight. So until i find longer straps, I have to deal with it there.

'When' I sell it? I don't think that will be for a long, long time. I love this bike too much right now to even think about selling her... I mean it.

Dude, I've loved the rear fender decals since the first time you posted a pic of them. Very original. Very cool.
