Townie, I got the same pipes and I love them! I think they really fit the muscular look of the bike. How did you make your own baffles?

Interesting that only one guy posts a pic with himself actually on the bike. Does that say something about us, or about him? Or is it just the fact that wives are so disinterested (if not outright hostile) toward the bike that they won't even take a pic of us on it? Hmmm...

Funny you should mention that! The reason I haven't posted a pic yet is twofold: 1) I haven't done anything to my VZ800 except debaffle and fibrosleeve, 2) the only picture I have of my bike is one my wife took of me on it. So if I did post it, what would I really be posting? Given that we all know very well what a stock black VZ800 looks like, I'd essentially just be posting a pic of myself.

Excuses, excuses! Posting that pic would satisfy the needs of your inner child by promoting a sense of acceptance by having a pic of you out there for everyone to see.

Oh, and if your wife is really hot, give her that line about the inner kid crap and slap a pic of her up as well, motorcycle or otherwise.

Yeah, in my case, I'm the only one in the world who thinks my bike is cool. All of my friends just rolled their eyes at me when I bought one, so nobody is going to take a picture for me. Have to set up a camera on auto timer so you all can bear witness to my ugly ass.

Default My Bike.

Corbin Dual Touring Seat - Nice!

Want to find riser extensions for better pullback - anyone found any?

Way to go, doesn’t that feel good!
So you got a stock bike... remove the side reflectors...now you're custom!

Default Here Ya Go !!!!!!!!

I'm not on it because I cant take the picture and set on it at the same time.

Hell..........I got trouble reaching the ground, much less taking a picture while sitting on it.

who makes those bags? those would look great on my bike i think. i could shave off those reflectors but the shape looks like it would match my rear fender well. since i have a c50 rear fender and with the little flare out at the bottom end i think it would all flow evenly. so let me know! who makes them??

Simple my good man..........

I slid out the originals, de-skinned them, extended them to suit the full length of the pipe by welding a cut off second set of HK baffles I had to the originals, I picked up on the removable chrome ring mounting hole at the end ( I do not use the removeable chrome end caps anymore ) as well as the original mount holes for the baffle, wrapped them both in muffler wrap bought from a speed shop, wired it all up to stay in place, slid 'em back in and away I went !!!

(sounds kinda sexy huh !!!)

Jokes aside they sound great !!!

Nice work on the alloys RED. Don't believe I've ever seen someone with an M50 touch the wheels.
