Louder than the stock pipes, I haven't yet decided whether they are too noisey or not, they sound like the average noisey Harley (which I don't like) I'll see

Hey, great stuff! How did you get that trunk mounted? Custom, or is there a luggage rack kit you used?

Is that a Givi you have there on the back? If so what model is it? I would love one for my bike but I can't find one that fits.

Sorry to butt in,

But I have GIVI mounted on mine. I just used the wing rack kit and the universal mounting kit.

When you buy some of the small GIVI bags you get a mounting plate that can attach to tubular luggage racks. I have seen this mount used to attach GIVI top cases on the OEM luggage rack.

I use my bike for commuting, I couldn't imagine not having the bags.

The side cases are the GIVI E21:
TwistedThrottle.com : Givi E21 Monokey Sidecases/Saddlebags (pair) - 21 liters/case - Givi E21

The top case is the E340:
TwistedThrottle.com : Givi E340 Vision Monolock Topcase (ea) - 34 liters/case - Givi E340

I have power washed the bike with the bags on and no water has gotten in. I imagine they will do well in the rain. (I avoid riding in the rain).

If you mount the wing racks:
TwistedThrottle.com : Givi N141 Wingrack II Top and Side Luggage Racks - Givi N141

You can mount any of the cases that will fit behind the turn signal, which is pretty much all the GIVI cases.

The wing racks require a fitting kit to adapt to a specific bike. There is not a kit for the M50 so you have to ask for the universal fitting kit. Twisted Throttle does not list it on their site, but they should be able to get it.

nice cases...
what is up with the weight of all these cases?
the most i've seen is 20lbs... the givi is 11lbs...

i need to re-think my case situation... in my softbags i think i had between 15-25lbs

i'll keep this as an option... i do like the looks of them, although a tad small.

Nope, it is a Tech7 It cost me £27.00 (around $50) it is one of the best around without getting into Givi money, over here the equivalent Givi top box is nigh on $200, and there is very little in quality difference.

Clicky

Default Left Side

Everyone always wants to show the pipe side pix shot and with good reason. However I'm finding myself lately liking the left side look of the bike more & more. Like this one.

Buster,

I like the look of the bike. I have been trying to find a way of carrying more without going the saddlebag route. What kind of mounting setup is on yours for the top case? Is that the stock windshield with tint on it?

I quite agree, however, if you get rid of that pair valve altogether, it is TOTALLY SEXAY!
Oh ....er ..... Nice Bike, love the decals.

Yep, completely.

The Back rack is a Highway Hawk rack, HOWEVER, the rack cost me about $110.00 and it rusts furiously, I am getting some brake caliper paint to spray it black.
The screen is a PUIG Custom 2 Screen, also available from Buster's at a fraction of the price of the Suzi screen.

Sorry mate, I missed this one. I bought the back rack seperately, then I fitted the mounting plate that comes with the top box onto the rack, also, the top box is very easily removable, laving a handy rack to carry large amounts of camping gear or dog food.

Georgia Roller, Can you post a shot of your seat and backrest w/o the helmet on it? Hows the seat for comfort? Did you bring your bars back a bit to be able to use the backrest?

The seat comfort is very good. It's a two piece Mustang touring seat and I leave off the rear seat and replace it with a fender bib 99% of the time unless my wife wants to ride. This seat moves you closer to the handlebars about 1-1/2" from stock.

I have the 07M50Limited risers and I rotated my bar back about 1/2". I have the grasshopper driver backrest. I am able to get support from the backrest.

Overall I'm happy with the setup. I'm 5'-10" and I"m very greedy about the amount of pullback that I want. I'd be even more happy if I had another 1" of pullback.

Hope the pictures help.
