Sweet pic. Have you posted a frontal shot of your PIAA lights before? I don't remember seeing one. If so, direct me to it. If not then post one.

heh. and to think i underpacked some things

Since i was going solo in unknown lands, I was ready for almost anything.
i did bring too much obviously, but it was clothing, the extra helmet, my other jacket and shoes that took a lot of bulk... i was ready for camping and had most tools i needed for almost anything.

next trip i'll probably bring half what i had this trip, yet add other things... like an inflatable matress a spare battery and a battery charger... then i'll be ready for anything

funny thing is that only a few things i brought i didn't use... and i had to buy stuff along the way, like an axe

With V&H Straight Shots and some black mirrors I found in the back of an old bike shop. Got them for $15. The packages were all faded. I'm still running with the canvas seat cover that has since faded from OD green to light tan.

Dj did you get the pipes or Mirrors for $15? Pipes make your bike look complete now. Looks great as always.

Ya know If the pipes were only $15.........I would already have scaloped and shortened...........Unless I paid good money for them then I couldn't bring myself to do it. For awhile....

Thanks '08. Didn't I read tomewhere on here that you had a heck of a time getting an M50? Glad to see you got one.

X, I wish they were only $15. The mirrors were in the back of this old shop mom and pop shop. They are the same mirrors but sold individually and were packaged by two different companies. I swear one package was so old and dated that it looked like it came out in maybe 1980.

Oh man did I ever have a hard time. I went to every stealership in my area one day, each of which had said they had one on the phone but were lying for some crazy reason. Did they think I wasn't going to be furious when I got there and maybe just pick up a different bike... ugh. But yeah, I ended up driving hundreds of miles to Hayward and Oakland all around to no avail. Then one day I was just dead set on finally making the purchase, called PCP Motor sports up (one of the people who lied last time but what can you do) and made them give me their name and swear to me there was one on the floor I drove there immediately and it was done.

All in all, from the time I was sure on the m50 walking around holding up 7000 dollars asking if anyone wanted my business, it took me 2 months to find one. But now I have it and it's only the gouging from the checkups that I must worry about.

nope, all loaded up she didn't want to wheelie at all. i probably had 75lbs loaded up and didn't feel much different riding around.

here's a pic of the lights from the front.

you wont find t-bars to fit this bike. They all are spaced for harley which is 3.5" center to center. Our bike is (if i remember correctly) 5 1/8" center to center. You will have to make them.

Death from above drilled new holes in his top clamp to make his work. But I would go a different route personally.

I finished my tank and seat (finally got some damn free time). Should all be put together in 2 weeks. Then moving on to the next..
