New 24" Drag bar w/4inch pull back and Black controls. ![]() ![]() ![]() The ride quality is quite different......more stable, with alot less feeling of control. And the ride position is too far foward for a 5'7"er. Plus my shoulders are wider than the bars so my arms are pointed inward. But they look cool...........I think 28's with 6inches of pull back would be nice.

I like those mirrors. Not crazy about the grips though. Where did you get the mirrors? Did you fab the skulls on the clutch and brake lever yourself or did you buy those? btw Is it just me or are you missing the mirror lens on the left side?

Super Cheap but a real high quailty part. eBay Motors: Suzuki Boulevard Marauder Volusia M50 C50 SKULL LEVERS (item 130232324660 end time Jun-20-08 18:18:56 PDT) Best source for any parts to customize bikes is here. Hey xtenzzive, sorry to hear about your get off! Hope you heal up quick. Now on to your bike, I've followed the stuff you've done to it on the various threads and you've got chutzpa! I really like seeing what you will come up with next! It's cool how you are making that bike your own, keep up the good work!

and I wanna mount the fender to the rear swing arm, new chopper 4 3/4 headlight, and I really want to fix this high rpm cruising at 70mph so I was thinking a taller tire would help a little but havn't looked into it yet, and I will look into a chain drive conversion so I can run a 240 and harley rims since they really don't make any rims for our bikes.......... Sorry I was rambling a bit there but you see it will never end with this damn obsession........

LOL Rumrunner, me too! That's why I am living vicariously through these other guys! xtenzzive, one of the things that I agreed to with my wife when I got this bike is that I would really try to get a bike I liked a lot right out of the box. LOL! With my Bandit I was ALWAYS doing this conversion or that, carb work, cleaning, maintaining, this bolt on or that. It really is a big part of the fun of owning a motorcycle aside from the joy of riding it. One of these days I am looking forward to having more time to do that sort of stuff again. From watching your work and a lot of the other guys here, I think the M50 is a good platform for it too. |

Yeah the short drag bars look good, you'll probably like the 28's though. I'd avoid to much pull back on them or they aren't true drags. Im doing research on the speedo thing (have been for a while) if I find anything I'll you know.
