Jay- I took the stripes off. I got tired of them. Now I like the non-stripe look. I'm sure in six months I'll do something else again.

Petcop- I love your paint job.

Townie- you're bike reminds me of a retro muscle bike. Very cool.

Ahh, thanks...actually it's not a paint job, just streetglo decals (reflective at night). I love them though, really breaks up the red!

Hey Townie--I've been looking at those Hard Krome 3" pipes. There's no question that they look great. But how do they sound? At 3 inches, I imagine they're pretty deep and growly. Can you try to answer these two questions?

1) How much louder are they than the stock pipes were?

2) How do they sound compared to stock pipes? Are they deeper, throatier, and growlier?

Townie, I've never seen those 3" pipes up close. It looks from the pic that they start out the same dimension as stick pipes. Do they open up to 3" near the end or is it the same size but with thicker heat shield?

Default M50r

Unfortunately, Suzuki never thought to offer an R version of M50, so here's the first stage of my attempt to do something a little different. (I apologize in advance for the small pictures, it'll be a few days until I find someone with a better camera than my cell phone )

I still love the look of the basic M50 Limited, but I'm prejudiced.

I haven't seen any other black and gray m50's since I've been on this forum. Am I the only one? (hope not)

nope, mine is black/grey
pretty simple so far, all ive done is add sissybar, windshield and leatherlyke bags, and smaller LED Kuryakyn turn signals
