Here is the pic of the mounts. I used the Harley mounts, but cut them and made a bracket that attached to the two holes on the forks above the light to the Harley mounts. then for the top mounts I used the brackets of a fairing bought off e-bay. The windshield I made at work out of smoked lexan.

Wow, so what's the machinery in front there, related to the headlights/running lights?

I need to get me a good noisemaker. I never use my horn because I get embarrassed. It seems someone decided the amount of noise a horn makes should be relative to the size of the vehicle. I think the horn noise should be relative to who needs it most.
For example a motorcycle needs to get peoples attention more than a car so its horn should sound larger.

i couldn't agree more...
When it rained just a bit, my stock horn sounded like a drowning clown.
Now with the new air horn, man, i get attention form morons who talk on the phone instead of looking in the mirror.

Pictures maybe tomorrow after i replace that ugly back light/license plate assembly with the new turn signals i just got.

Thumper, you've got one seriously modded bike. Very nice work.

I remounted the saddlebags. I didn't like the look of the strap across the rear fender.

I agree, much cleaner looking this way. I like that your keeping it simple and not over doing the look. Its easy to get caried away and try to incorporate everything you think looks good on one bike. Good job

Visited my parents over the weekend, my mom has a digital camera, you can see the trim I added to the fender and the saddle bags in this one... unfortunately its my brothers car behind me and not mine. Taken in the in minutes before the rain started, that was fun for 140 miles...planned changes include engine guards with pegs, new seat, handle bar risers to move em up and back, iso grips and someday a taller windshield, its better than none but it still sucks (Spitfire windshield). If I can get my hands on some angle aluminum I'll add additional lights, and I want to do something about the cheesy huffy reflectors. Starting the progression of drilling/baffling/replacing the pipes.

Nice. For some reason I like the sissy bars on black bikes but not as much on other colored bikes. Did you make some custom brackets for the front turn signals?

As custom as home depot building materials department... lol

I found a 90 degrees brackets to connect wood studs, i cut it and for some reason, the holes it had were exactly where the holes are under the triple tree, so that was lucky, i just had to enlarge them.

Bracket cost $1.56
Home Depot item: RTA2Z 2x Rigid Tie Connector Z-MAX
Store SKU# 642459

When cut in the middle, it gives you a right and a left bracket

The sissy bar (backrest) came with the bike along with the kury grips, but i do like it (the Mrs. actually) so she doesn't slide out of the back when i hit the throttle.. lol
