| Clunked into first gear ![]() | I have the Dual Touring Seat. I have 6000 miles on it and it still just as hard as when I first got it. I do not do a lot of long rides, the longest is about three hours, so I can not tell you how it is for long distance rides but for short rides I like it. I like the way it looks and my wife says it is comfortable for her. Having said that I would not buy it if I was to do a lot of long rides, I would go with a Mustang seat. I rode on one for about five hours and never got uncomfortable.

| I just got a slightly used classic solo and pillion. It pushes me further forward and it is hard. I have not done a long ride yet. I am planning on riding down to Myrtle Beach for the day on Friday. After that, I will know if I will keep it or sell it and get a Mustang.

| Here's my review of the Classic Solo. http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...ghlight=corbin I should also point out that what I mentioned about the seat being narrow and pressing into my butt is ultimately what caused me to sell the seat and go back to stock. If I hadn't had that issue, I'd almost certainly still be using it.

| Here is the thread I originally created about the Corbin and it has my review in it. I still like the seat, not all the comfort I had hoped for but much better than anything else I've tried and I'm still happy I bought it. Maybe I just need more time overall to build up a resistance...who knows. http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...-m50-seat.html

| I've had the classic solo with the back support for a little over a year. I just got back from a 1500 mile trip and the seat was very good. No lower back pain or rear end, just tired. Seat is nice and firm and like alot of other members have said about the stock seat, the solo does not hit the pressure point in your lower back and cause back pain or your legs to fall alseep. I'm very happy with the seat and after 1500 miles worth every penny, as far as I'm concerned. Paul |
